I stayed here for a night before going to Lesvos the next day. As mentioned on the booking, I knew there would be no reception in this accommodation. Unfortunately, the accommodation did not communicate with me about the check-in process. When I arrived, the accommodation was locked, there was no doorbell, and no one was there. I had to wait for 20 minutes and walked around to check whether the entrance was on the other side. I tried to call, but it seems like it did not work either.
Someone who was also a guest let me in after I yelled out and kicked the door to make as loud a noise as possible.
The room was okay, not too small. However, the bathroom was quite cramped, and there was no ventilation at all, which made it a bit smelly. There was also no hot water in the shower and the sink.
Yes, it is cheap compared to other hotels. However, leaving guests confused about checking in is not a good start. Hope they can improve their service.

Normal accommodation for its price. Located in the historic center, 5 minute from the sea. It’s the old building so there are some limitations: only two socket per room, no warm water in the sink, little bathroom not very comfortable. But for one night it’s okay. The manager is very welcoming. Although there can be problems during check in as there is not pertmanent reception. So when you arrive you need to call the property. If you don’t have mobile connection it can be a challenge. So it’s better to get in contact with the manger in advance

Since the hotel is located in the old streets of Ayvalık, it is a bit difficult to reach it by car. If you are entering those streets for the first time like me, I recommend that you leave your car in an available place. Once you get to know the surroundings, you will discover available parking spaces close to the hotel, or the property will assist you. The roads are very narrow and some places are closed to vehicles.
