Hotel in need of a complete refurb and room not so clean. Breakfast was included and it was basic. however the staff were friendly and very helpful if needed. it was a great location to bar restaurants, super Morzine 8min walk and Pleney was 5 min walk.

Staff very friendly, good breakfast included, bed very comfortable, despite finding one of the bed slats under the bed! I just wish there had been hot water. The room also had mould on the skirting board and on ceiling above shower. Plug hole hadn't been cleaned in a long time.

In over 60 years, this is by far the worst accommodation I have ever stayed in. The room is less than basic. Bed, ensuite, no hot water, no electricity, no TV. I have stayed in far better hostels for a 10th of the price. The room was on the third floor, three massive flights of steps, no lift. You are expected to take all your luggage up there. I’m over 60! I reported the lack of hot water on arrival. Three hours later, no improvement … Mr maintenance man told me, because of lots of checkouts today , the cleaners had used all the hot water. It should be better in the morning…. So this is my problem?!! So no chance of a shower today… he showed me the isolator switch, so I can actually get some electricity to the socket to charge my phone… The ski locker Is half a block away. There is a security code on the door, which I assume everybody in the hotel is given, and it’s open for anyone to walk in and take whatever they want. Zero security, and of course, no boot warmers .

Stayed 4 nights in mid march as a group. Two double rooms and one twin room. Twin room was very small for 2 people and a tiny sized bathroom. Our two double bed rooms were bigger and more suitable bathroom size. Bathrooms are a wet room so think plastic caravan style. May not look too pretty (green carpet and painted green furniture, then pink carpet!) but it was clean and very good value for money. Pros: Let us have late check out, bag storage, good options breakfast for a 2 star hotel, exceeded expectation, clean room, boot room across the road, Staff very friendly, great location and close to Pleney ski lift. Had a balcony. Cons: no lift and we were on the 4th floor, so taking bags up were difficult. Our radiator sounded like running water all night.

It has been a long time since I rated a ‘hotel’ this low … evidenced by the fact that I’ve left the hotel that I pre-paid for 2 nights after 1 night. The hotel is run-down (to put it mildly). Just look at the reception area, the furniture, the exterior, the ‘carpet’ … you name it. One should also not be surprised if the water temperature of the shower is not constant. Note: the mini shower/toilet/bathroom is a small plastic box. The best feature of the hotel is the relatively good location (5 min walk from Morzine centre and skilift)!

Despite the fact that I prepaid I left after one night as this is below ‘hostel’ level.

The hotel is situated right in the centre of Morzine close to bars and shops, the Super Morzine lift is 8 min walk and the bus to Avoriaz stops around 500m away. The room itself is basic but as a location for boarding it was superb. I didn't really need to interact with the staff which is lucky cos most are French speaking only. They have a luggage room and also you have free use of a drying room for your gear which is great (just remember to bring a lock) Most rooms have a small balcony which is great i had a superb view of Morzine and Avoriaz. Breakfast is basic nothing cooked but plenty of continental items to choose from. The room was comfortable with lots of storage space, the shower was super powerful but the bathroom a little small but was fine. There is no daily maid service. I didn't eat in the restaurant as i ventured out into Morzine. All in this is ideal for location for a short alps break i would definitely stay here again. The price was very cheap and it included breakfast. The walls are a little thin so when busy could be a little noisy, obviously being central it can be loud at night but thats fine. There is no lift in the property which some might find hard, i was on the 3rd floor so its quite a climb. Would be nice is some bacon and eggs was prepared for breakfast.
