The best hotel among the Athenian hotels I stayed so far. My only concern was the double room doors that were connecting to the next room.

I don't know why I see people giving negative reviews for only giving a bottle of water. In Europe, you generally drink tap water, and hotels also tell you that the water can be drank directly from the tap.
Except that the location of this hotel is not very central (but it is within walking distance to everything, including the subway station), everything else is good.
Rooms away from the street may not be very quiet, but they are still within the acceptable noise range. The air conditioner in the room is cooling normally and the wind noise is very small.
The supplies are complete, including toothbrushes, toothpaste, slippers, etc. Facilities and cleanliness are great, international standards. first rate service. Pillows come in two sizes, high and soft or hard and thin. Many star hotels have to ask housekeeping to deliver them. Very plus.
Overall, I paid $90 (including 10 euro city tax) for one night, which was a great value. The room itself has a value of $150-180. (As long as you are willing to walk an extra 10 minutes)

The staff is very friendly and helpful, rooftop restaurant on site with beautiful views, clean & comfortable rooms, great location not far from shops and restaurants. Enjoyed my stay!

It was a comfortable stay at Athens Key. Very clean room, comfortable bed and beddings with all the amenities that one need during a short stay. Very friendly and helpful people at the reception. Good location with a range of transportation options at walking distance.

Very comfortable, one-year old hotel since complete renovation. Location is near most attractions and walkable halfway between Syntagma Sq and Monastraki Sq but in an odd neighborhood. Overall a nice stay and staff helpful. Room was nice. Location mediocre.

The location was good. The hotel was clean and the staff was nice. The maids rocked. The room was tiny. No place to put your clothes but a closet. One tiny garbage can services the bath, sink and room etc. Just a sheet on the mattress cover and a hot blanket. Sweated a lot and ended up on the mattress pad every morning. This may be customary and we may be spoiled, but we feel the room was priced to have these benefits… linens and convenient novelties on vacation.
