Pros: The sea view is not blocked by the hills by the sea. Unlike the pearl star, the main road is very quiet. The service of an old gentleman is very good. The service of the Quentin tableware is some Royal Copenhagen porcelain and some very good furniture. But for me, the level of Atami Hiramatsu is no longer comparable to Tsuruga Bizhiza. I checked in and took off my shoes and put them in the room. It was raining and two people came to pick up the taxi. I was lonely and I was still drenched in the rain. I didn’t take out the suitcase. The toilet wallpaper should be replaced, but the hot springs are not glass-sealed. The humidity in the room is too high and the hot springs have no flowing water. The old soup is heated repeatedly, and the water vapor breeds mold. Food and beverages are all sweet juices, no fresh fruits, overly sweet snacks, marinated meat for breakfast and dinner. Too many delicious shrimp dishes for the only dinner. The other materials and processing methods are extremely ordinary and unpalatable. It is not comparable to the master kitchen of the New National Museum of Art in Tokyo. The set meal is more than 400. The female staff told me that the hotel has no public space. It is also 5,000 yuan per person. All public spaces on the first floor of the building are equipped with high-end audio and alcoholic beverages. All beverages are free to order. Professionally prepared meals are delivered to the dining table. Room lobby public space Meals are in separate rooms. Eating here is open again. I have lived in Atami before and lived in Hoshino World. The room is very beautiful. Evening plum wine drinks and geisha performances are now under renovation and opening. I will go there again and have a good time. I miss the comprehensive comparison and will not choose the hotel in Hiramatsu again. It is outdated in all aspects

I stayed here with five male friends. We booked a meal plan, so dinner and breakfast were included. The venue was very luxurious, and we were able to dine while feeling the retro Showa era! There was a wide variety of menu items, which was great. There were also many types of hot springs, so we were able to enjoy going from one to the other. Needless to say, the ocean view from the room was the best, and we were able to relax in our room listening to the sound of the waves.
If I had to say one thing, it would be that despite the great location, there are no convenience stores within walking distance, so I recommend buying a few things before checking in!!

The hotel was great, wonderful service, good food, nice staff overall, however, Fuua spa was a bit disappoint with no extra towels to use. I would suggest to bring a bottle of drinking water or you would have to purchase. We stayed in the mountain side because it was cheaper but the ocean view would be great. You can see ropeway going up and down on the mountain side. Bus runs for free between the station and the hotel every 20 minutes or so. No reservation needed. It’s right in front of McDonalds at the station. Bus is not large. I would suggest to get there a bit early if you want to sit with your company together.
You have a half off ropeway discount in the card you get at the check in counter so don’t throw it away after check out the hotel :)

Service: From check-in to dining and check-out, everything went smoothly, full marks for service; when checking out, they also helped to call a taxi, and they also gave us an umbrella very enthusiastically because it was raining.
Hygiene: Full marks for hygiene, it feels really clean, very suitable for people with mysophobia hahaha
Nothing else to add, each room has an independent entrance to ensure privacy. The breakfast is not bad, but I may not be used to such a Japanese breakfast. In addition, you can only take a taxi to travel, which is a little bit unsatisfactory

Come for the Atami Fireworks Conference. One night, two meals and one night for four people, 7600 RMB, usually 1800. We are on the 7th floor, a bit old Japanese-style room, more than 50 square meters with a large terrace, excellent sea view. The balcony is directly opposite the fireworks display platform. But the hotel still recommends going to the beach to be more shocking. In order to attract guests, the local area circled the best and most positive steps on the beach only for the residents to sit, and the real VIP view. Walk back to the hotel for five minutes to soak in the soup, and you can't get a taxi in the end. Although the fire has 35 minutes, the scene is grand and it is so beautiful. The hotel's morning and evening food is buffet, the taste is average, the steak for dinner is good, the tempura is big enough for children to like.

Although some people may feel that it’s a hassle to do online check-in without a ‘proper’ hotel front desk assistance, we didn’t have any issues. We could submit our personal details via our mobile phones anywhere anytime prior arriving. Then upon arriving, using the PIN sent to our emails, we could smoothly enter the entrance. At the lobby, there were tablets, for each guests to take their picture for verification to the information we had submitted beforehand. Then we were connected to a call centre which asked us some simple questions then it was done. We loved that there were free flow of hot & cold drinks, alcohol and non-alcohol, free flow chocolates/sweets/japanese nuts available. We were a group of 7, so we used the common space for our meals. The rooms were huge for Japan standards with a small sink, dining table attached. Each booking came with a car park lot. The car park is just a 2-3 minutes drive away and we just parked accordingly to our room number. I cannot be more pleased with my stay here and will definitely recommend friends to stay here.

This hotel is a very unique hotel in Atami. It has a unique Japanese style, you can come and experience it. Their hot springs are also great! The top floor of the hotel is a great location for watching fireworks. The room also has a private hot spring, which is very good. The breakfast is also rich. It's just that it's really expensive during the fireworks festival.

Although I was a little concerned about the dirt at the edge of the shower room, the open-air bath was great and the rooftop pool was also very fun. Drinks were also available for purchase, so I was happy to play in the pool while drinking alcohol and then relax in the hot spring afterwards.

The Japanese-style house, the three people are more spacious, facing the bay sea view room, the hot spring is not big, but you can see the bay, there are not many people, comfortable. Breakfast and dinner are good, dinner is 6,000 yen per person, but value for money, rich food, typical Japanese service, thoughtful, warm, booked a shuttle bus to the station,

GGuest UserThis homestay is owned by a lady from Northeast China and her Japanese husband. The lady was very friendly and introduced many precautions and classic tourist attractions in Atami to us before we checked in. But we were just transiting in Atami, and it was a pity that we didn't go to the places recommended by the owner's sister. We will definitely go there again later! !
The room is very big! ! ! ! ! ! It can accommodate 15 people! ! The room is very Japanese, and the structure is cleverly designed. It is like a Chinese garden with a different view at every step. It is a very special experience. There is also a hot spring bath on the first floor, but the lights inside are dim, which is a bit scary. Of course, there is also a bathtub in the room.
Watch TV with the projector on at night and fall asleep steadily. It is really comfortable to sit by the window and watch the sun shining on the sea in the morning! !
GGuest UserWe stayed at the hotel for the Atami Fireworks. Location is a nice easy walk down the slopes to the shopping streets. Plenty of amenities nearby. Room was clean and the space was well thought out. Staff is helpful. The carpark attendant that day wasn't the most friendly but that didn't spoil the stay.
We were recommended not to drive to the pier for the fireworks because of traffic jam, which turns out to be true as cars were waiting just get out of carparks. However, it's a steep walk back after the fireworks as we followed google maps for the shortest route back but it surprised us with stairs. Could be an easier walk if we had retrace our steps although the distance would be longer.
GGuest UserService is excellent. Once we called them at Atami Train Station, their car arrived in 10 mins to pick us up. The free ride from/to train station is very helpful. Free drinks and snacks during happy hours 3-5pm is very good. We have seafood, beef, fish and semi buffet for dinner. The beef was good. Fish is okay. Overall the services are very good and staffs can speak English that made it easy to communicate. The ocean view from our room is beautiful.
CConstantin Maximilian+:
The service was really kind and let me check in even though the beds weren't made since I was way too early.
The location is really nice not too far away from the train station and close to the sea side promenade and beach.
Luggage store room under bed was quite spacious
They have an extra room with a small billard table
-:
only one shower and toilet for men (same for women), so you had to wait sometimes, the most in the morning before check out.
Entrance is hard to find in a dark small alley in the corner of a street.
CCYYTheir service is wonderful. We left a charger in our room and they quickly locate it and return it. I understand that they use a plastic bag to hold all customer property left in their room and labelled it with dates and room no. This shows how they care about their customers and address to things systemically with every single details. This is one of the many times I forgot things in hotel and public transport and can get things back every time. Speechless!
GGuest UserThe location is very good, very close to the station. You can contact the boss in advance. They have videos to teach you how to walk from the station to the B&B. The space inside the room is relatively small, and it will be a little inconvenient to open the suitcase. Fortunately, the roommates are very nice. The boss can speak Chinese and communication is easy. The scenery inside and outside the B&B is very good. You can enjoy the fireworks display without leaving home. Very good👍
GGuest UserIt was a quaint, cozy hotel situated close to JR Atami Station. The hotel has very good food for both dinner and breakfast! The staff are friendly and even though they can't speak good English, they tried their best to communicate to the best of their knowledge and I really appreciate it! I especially enjoyed my time at the onsen on the rooftop, it has good facilities.
The only thing is the cleanliness of the room, since there is still water in the kettle from the previous guests, I didn't want to drink any water from the kettle because of it. They should replace it with a new kettle or clean it. Otherwise, the room is also very cozy, they give yukatas for guests to wear them around the hotel and they also offer free transport to JR Atami station. Otherwise, I would have struggled to get around since there is lack of public transportation at Atami!
I still have a very good time and enjoyed my time because of the friendly staff at the hotel, they are very helpful! 10/10 will come back again with my friends or family in the future.
GGuest UserA very comfortable experience~ The whole family had a very happy stay~
The room is relatively large, there are three futons on the tatami, two beds on the balcony, and the toilet and bathroom entrance are also very spacious. Living on the 6th floor, the balcony can see the open-air swimming pool and the sea not far away. The welcoming cakes and senbei are very delicious~ Yukata and toiletries are available in the lobby on the first floor.
There are four major categories of public baths. The Roman bath is the largest (with a sauna and a cold water pool) and the flower bath is also relatively spacious (also with a sauna and a cold water pool). The open-air bath on the top floor is relatively small, and it is not easy to soak with many people. Then there are several family baths, which are first-come, first-served, and queued. All baths are included in the room rate, and you can soak in them all, which is still very fun.
The breakfast is very complete and delicious~ It feels so grand with one or two hundred people dining at the same time~
There are Chinese-speaking staff at the front desk who will tell you a lot of details, which is very considerate
The hotel also has a shuttle bus. It is recommended to confirm the time and shuttle point in advance. If you miss it, you can take the bus, which is also very convenient
It just feels like the gate is like an iron fence, and it is relatively old. It can be renovated~
KKunduSouravThis is a traditional Japanese Ryokan style hotel. All instructions are in English however, means there are foreigners regularly staying here. There is a open air onsen (hot bath) which is very pleasant. Must be reserved in advance. Drinks can be bought at 200 yen a pop. This is a fully unmanned Ryokan meaning it self check in and self checkout ! The rooms are very small (4 meter square) which barely fits a bed. Pictures on the travel sites about the rooms in this hotel are deceiving ! The location is sort of OK from Kinomiya station but it's quite far from Atami city center and Atami sun beach . We took at taxi which was 1200 yen. Kinomiya Jinja is 25 minutes by foot.
