I reserved this hotel on Fri 4 Oct-Sat 5 Oct, 2019 through Hotels.com. It was the last night of my 26-day travel in Germany,Austria,and Czech. I wanted this place because I was looking for a comparatively quiet place, about 5Km far from downtown of Ruedesheim am Rhein, which I visited 2 weeks ago already and could not understand why so many people (including group tour) came there. But When I checked in, an old manager told me that because of hot water system problem some reserved guests can not have their room and that he made a reservation at another 4 star hotel(Hoteltraube) at downtown of Ruedesheim. When I went to Hoteltraube, I did not like at all, so I reserved Frankfurt Humeriah and stayed there. Strange to say, I did not receive any email from Hotels.com after I came home. When I called Hotels.com, they did not know any thing. Later they emailed that Krone insisted as they prepared another hotel they can not refund my payment. This is so ridiculous and irresponsible attitude. As I believe such attitude roots in Krone's management mind I do not recommend this hotel. FYI Hotels.com will compensate my loss though I don't know how much it will be. PS: I have traveled more than 2 million miles. This time I went this area due to my wife's asking, so called Rhein river cruise or tour is really so-so except one night staying at Schonburg,
