The lady at the reception was absolutely fantastic. She was extremely helpful polite and very accommodating. 10/10. I'm sorry I didn't get her name. But she was just great!!! The rooms are more basic than you could imagine. Bedding was well made and clean. Hygiene was not great elsewhere. Lack of toilet paper etc was not a great start but not a complaint. There was a ”stink” in the bathroom, I discovered it was toilet brush . The pool area was acceptable. The breakfast for €12 was ok, not fantastic. The location was a bit far from the Grotto. We had to get a taxi each night as after a day of walking in the town centre the walk uphill was too much for any if us. The overall facilities are in need of repairs and an option to purchase a box of basic items would have been good, such as coffee butter milk etc.

Strong points: lift, sympathy of some staff. Weak points: Small, old, floor still in a flat, bad for those who have allergies, horrible bed (on the second night I sleeped on the floor and only there I could sleep, after 3 hours to roll in bed trying to find a position. The rooms are innocent. I heard the guests from above discussing and even their TV and on the second day a person sounds very high. Room with only one phone card ... Medium bathroom, with a polyvan with a curtain of 1.20x1.20m (+/-), not allowing a bad. the hair dryer is only a tube (a rare thing) The last meal of the stay was sad: a cheese leaf, 3 grilled sauces and half a pre-frite potato plate, a kidney with mousse cream ?! (I reported receipt at check-out and the answer was only regrettable.) Wi-Fi limited, not reaching all rooms. I don't advise. Some 3-star hotels in Lourdes should rethink what it means having 3 stars ...

The hotel is very clean, comfortable, comfortable, comfortable, comfortable, comfortable, comfortable, very comfortable, very nice breakfast, very varied. The restaurant is top, beautiful and good bases from the entrance to the dessert. The staff is friendly and service inconvenient. There are many positives to this hotel. This was our 3rd stay in this hotel and we will come back in future. Overall a positive experience. Location - walkable to the Grotto and great shopping and restaurants all around. The view from the balconies, if you get such a room, is to the grotto and awesome to wake up to. Facilities - good breakfast, parking onsite, gym, spa (free access) would recommend the rooms with balconies Beds - super comfortable Rooms - big rooms in comparison to other hotels in France. Cleanliness (as far as I can see see below comment about the use of dark color in decor) Service - the staff is very helpful and customer focussed. the lady who manages the breakfast room in particular was amazing. She remembers us from our visit 9 months back, to the detail of what tea my mother preferred. Absolutely five stars for her! the opportunities for improvement are the liberal use of dark color all over in the decor. While a nice design touch, for a hotel, in regards hygiene, I am not sure I am comfortable with so much dark color when I can't see any possible stains. The elevator covered in fake turf was also a bit claustrophobic as it was also very small. The lobby has very little sitting area, so if you are waiting for someone, you have to linger by the reception or sit in the bar.

Just returned from 3 nights and 4 days staying at the Alba. It wasnt our first time visiting Lourdes but it was our first time staying at this hotel. This will absolutely be the only place we stay from here on whenever we come back to Lourdes. The toilet and shower room are spotless and cleaned daily (unless you put the do not disturb sign on if you didnt want it cleaned everyday). The towels were crisp, white and clean and looked brand new .... plenty of towels provided and toiletries provided too. Lovely added touches! The rooms are spotlessly clean, modern and well looked after and maintained. Good air conditioning in the rooms. Only thing missing was a little fridge and maybe tea/coffee facilities but we managed without and had to just drink wine instead (🤭) The bed was so comfortable and we had such a good sleep each and everynight! Crisp white and clean bedding which shows how spotless everything was. The staff were always cheerful and helpful with anything we needed and the hotel was in a prime postion, on the banks of the river Gave, and within walking distance to the Grotto/Domain! We had a wonderful few days away in Lourdes, it is such a special and Holy place .... and staying at this hotel really helped to make it extra special ! See you next year please God. Centrally located less than a kilometer from the Sanctuary/Grotto. A lift is just around the corner from the hotel which will bring straight down to the main street. There were four of us and we had two rooms -- a family room with four beds and a single room with one double bed. My granddaughter was not feeling well the next day and since our train back to Paris did not leave until late in the afternoon, we asked to extend one of the rooms and paid for the additional time. The request was received well and handled very efficiently by the people at the front desk -- I think it is the owner and her son. The rooms were clean and the bathrooms were also very spotless with good strong hot water. They served a filling and tasty buffet breakfast -- cereals, fruits, bread, cold cuts and eggs plus coffee and juices. Very good value for money. The sanctuary/grotto is a ten minute walk away. If you're attending the evening procession, the lift closes at 11:30 so try to catch to save an uphill walk to the hotel.

Very welcoming, cozy, and beautiful with a view of a river from my room. Staff were exceptional, very friendly and helpful, I asked for a sellotape around midnight to use for my packing, staff went beyond just to accommodate me. Also good to mention, I was surprised when two lovely staff told me upon checking in that my booking comes with a breakfast, I thought they just made a mistake and so I clarified that I didn’t include breakfast as I will be spending most of my time outside and I had an early flight to Paris, but they insisted and went over the top by saying ‘they can make a sandwich or pack a light breakfast with fruits for me’, amazing and superb service, indeed. Great location, near the Cathedral, shops, and restaurants. Everything was perfect, I would definitely come back and recommend.
