Very nice place to relax. Great pool. Good breakfast. Nice room however a bit small. Location a Bitburg the beaten track.

Thank you All for the great honeymoon we had! From the reception when we checked in, through all our stay the breakfast team was always attentive, the service on the Sun-loungers was great, amazing food and great cocktails with special mentions for Mariana for the best Fredo Cappuccino of all times and Ellen’s best Tropical Mojito ever tried. Thank you for looking after us through the medical incident, you guys can consider yourselves a life saviours. Thank you for accommodating our late check out and really appreciate the attention from Pavlos with the rounds on the house while we were waiting for our departure.

Wow! What can I say about my stay.... Would come back and cannot fault the staff, very welcoming. Love - - Welcomed by the lovely staff, so very friendly and greeted with a welcome drink. Someone went through everything about the hotel before we went to our room. They take you down to your room in a golf buggy and carry your luggage. - The hotel room was clean, so complaints. We had free wine, water, coffee and fruit in our stay, the water was topped up 2 days out of our stay (little disappointing considering we were there 4 days, and have to pay for water). - Glad we upgraded to the hot tub, was raining our whole time except the last day. The hot tub was beautiful and quite. away from everyone else, not be able to see by neighbours. - The restaurant was lovely, a range of amazing food! Cannot fault this, one of the best places we have been, such a selection. The tables are very spread out so you don't feel cramped, very comfortable. Drinks were odd at dinner time, but free drinks at breakfast. - Refilling drinks, there was a couple of times were other tables had drinks topped up at breakfast, we had this once on our stay due to making eye contact. But the staff was efficient in clearing tables. - change of towels daily if you want to, just take them to the spa. - Free parking, right outside the hotel was very useful. - Pool area, lots of sunbeds (not much Shade but can move yourself away). Drinks come to you and put on your room which was helpful, didn't have to worry about carrying money. Unlike -- - The indoor pool was freezing!! We wanted to have a swim due to it raining, but back to our room we went. The sauna and steam room was nice though. - no menu for drinks at dinner, bit of a guessing game. Had to pay for drinks at dinner but not breakfast. Didn't even get free water! Free coffee and orange juice was delightful at breakfast. - The floors in the room can be slippy after shower/ hot tub, this is to be expected just be careful especially if you were the slippers provided. Overall it was a lovely hotel which I would go back too, all hotels have their faults but I wouldn't let this stop you from going!.

One of the finest places on earth to unwind with the people you love the most. We have never believed in travelling to the same place twice, but this resort completely changed our minds. We’ll definitely be coming back! The resort had a luxurious, clean, picturesque, calm and elegant feel. And the food was delicious. The hot tub in our private garden was epic, we used the outdoor and indoor gym every day, utilised the games room to play table tennis & pool and we made the most of the sauna and spa facilities. We didn’t need to leave the hotel! But we did visit a beautiful lake near by & Chania, travelling via hire car. A gorgeous week away in perfect 25oC heat and sunshine with stunning views. Very friendly and helpful front of house, management & cleaning staff too! Would highly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful hotel. The beds were good and once we'd got to grips with the 'boutique' style room (not hugely spacious) we found a home for everything. The food was varied, beautifully presented and totally delicious! We were able to choose sun loungers in the shade or sun at any time of day. There are plenty of them and they are wide and comfortable. The staff here are superb; friendly, helpful and totally professional. The whole hotel is immaculate and extremely quiet - which is exactly what we wanted. We have no hesitation in recommending La Mer to other travellers who are looking for some peace and quiet, with comfort and excellent food.

Solid hotel. Great staff. They did their best and the food was very good. Once they make the beach in man made fashion with less rocks, it will be a true five star. I appreciate it takes time to make beaches more user friendly and look forward to seeing how it improves. Wish them well and look forward to seeing the improvements over time! Definitely keep in mind for future

Good location between Chania and Rethymno minimising driving timing for site seeing . The hotel is nicely built on the beach with a nice clean pool and plenty of space with sun loungers round the pool and on the beach. Staff including top management were very helpful, honest, very receptive and keen to listen to suggestions we made and the service was impeccable, both in the restaurants and at the reception. Breakfast and dinner buffers very rich with good variety of cold and hot food. Well kept gardens and very clean throughout the hotel. Overall we had a great time and would recommend.
