my entire stay at Hotel Live Max Mikawaanjo Ekimae was worth it. it exceeded my expectations. the room was very clean and the location is very ok as well if given the chance, i still want to stay again with Hotel Live Max Mikawaanjo Ekimae in my next Japan vacation KUDOS!

Mikawa-Anjo houses two Toyoko Inns rigth next to each other. They are not exactly the same, so it is worth differentiating them. This one (the ”No. 2”) is equipped with a self-service (so-called ”express”) check-in facility, which also means the guestrooms have been upgraded to the new-generation Toyoko standard. Mikawa-Anjo might sound like some kind of pointless backwater compared to Nagoya, but it is only a 15-minute shinkansen stop away, the prices of everything are cheaper than they are in the big city, and it generally feels like a breath of fresh air compared to hectic Nagoya. Breakfast can be (was) amazingly spacious and uncrowded if you are used to other Toyoko's. Otherwise, identical to other Toyoko Inns -reliably solid, with unfailingly courteous staff.

I made a reservation with national support. I needed an Internet connection to issue a negative certificate, but I couldn't connect in the lobby and could only display the certificate on the shared computer placed in the lobby. I don't want to open it on a shared computer because it's an infringement of privacy. And it's very slow. I thought I could finally get it, but here, the amount of reservations on the official homepage and reservation confirmation emails was displayed on the premise that the discount was applied. I often stay at business hotels in various places on business trips, but if there is a Dormy Inn, I will make a reservation without hesitation, the staff's response, cleanliness, hot spring bath, and breakfast are highly satisfying. There is a bad evaluation, but I think it is certain that one head is out of other hotels if the price and content are compared.

The location is good in front of Shin-Anjo Station, but the price is quite high because there is not much competition. The facilities are old and the rooms are not spacious, but the price is about 20% higher than national chains. Also, the reception is on the 2nd floor, but there are only stairs to go up and down from the 1st floor to the 2nd floor. It is impossible to go up and down the stairs with luggage.
