Annabelle Beach Resort

Stayed here beginning of May. It was slightly out of season but still very pleasant weather wise. A few issues regarding the hotel though, only the main buffet restaurants were open for breakfast, lunch and dinner no a la carte dining and only a couple of bars open. Pools were very fresh and the swim up bar was closed even for the sunbathing clients. No entertainment to speak of and not enough staff to cover each bar, only one person serving so you had to queue in a line and no table service so be prepared to get off your backside and go to the bar in keeping with the boot camp theme. The hotel seems to cater for and favour the French. There was a Disco down at the beach area one evening but the bar wasn’t opened so you had to climb back up the seemingly endless steps to the reception bar for any drinks, and it wasn’t worth the time and effort and in any case you would have drunk you drink after a third of the way back down. Smoking seems to be permitted anywhere in the hotel apart from the main buffet restaurant and your own room without any consideration for other guests, passive smoking is more damaging to others than actually smoking and considering this is a family hotel it’s not really children friendly. The hotel is not for the infirm there are steps to negotiate everywhere, you have to go upstairs to come back down and vice versa, if you are looking for a Boot Camp Stay then look no further. The beach is very corse stone so beach shoes are a must. The rooms are dated and most with Shower over baths, the hairdryer is from the 70’s the box a on a wall type that looks like an old vacuum cleaner but it did the job considering that I had a No 1 cut before I came. Air conditioning unit was recent and worked well. All in all a pleasant stay but don’t come here if you struggle with steps or climbing over a bath to use the shower, or if you are opposed to the French. Drinks were okay but other than the local stuff you will need to pay. The hotel is listed as 5 Star and could be with some changes but it’s really a 3+. The thing that I liked most was you are not given Wristbands. After three days we hired a car to do some exploring and it’s well worth it as we found civilisation in the form of waiters and waitresses bringing food and drinks to our table we had to pay of course but it felt like we were actually on holiday, we also found moving stairs and our tired bodies were able to have some relief. After our stay here I’m fit enough to do a triathlon and apply for Gladiators.

There are such many beatifull places, so many smilling people. There are peace and smile all around a hotel. But very important was a aegeospas, there was a massager with gold hands, after massage I fill very, very good! See you another time!!! Thank you so much - Paldies!!!

Nice hotel and apar**ents but has issues. Lots and lots of steps everywhere,so no good if you have mobility issues or prams. Apar**ents clean and spacious, comfy bed. Food OK typical AI drink a bit pants as usual with AI entertainment very poor but was early April. My main issue with the entertainment was, there are two team. The pink wave team who were all lovely,friendly and inclusive of everyone, and the fram team who seemed to be there solely for the French. Was annoyed they did a quiz totally in French and ignored every other nationality there.also apparently had a beach party that only the French were invited to,which I thought very unfair. Beach is lovely and sunbeds comfy, but it is not sand. Its like fish tank gravel. There is nothing outside of the hotel. Either 45min walk or taxi to hersonissos where all the shop and harbour are. Overall had a lovely holiday as weather was really good, but definitely would NOT stay there again.

Let’s start by saying that the staff are fantastic they are friendly and helpful and very welcoming.The food was excellent there was a lot of variety of choices.The resort itself was a bit tired and needed a bit of TLC could have done with a bit of a paint job in most places of seating, our room wash basin in bathroom the plunger for the waste not working, cupboard doors hanging on hinges, patio door not locking I could have called maintenance but it wasn’t an issue. This resort is not good if you are disabled or have walking difficulties as it’s 63 steps from lower level to the lobby bar and restaurant. There was no information on any excursions or trips from the hotel to be found anywhere. Overall I personally would say this resort should be a 3 star plus not a 5 star . Kostas in the pool bar was brilliant couldn’t have been more helpful than what he was .

We had never done a package or all inclusive holiday and booked this as a very last minute break We loved the situation of the hotel and was perfect just for a chill out week. The room was lovely with a balcony and clean All the staff we met were friendly and we were made to feel very welcome. The choice of food available was varied and something for everyone, we loved the little taverna near the beach pool Overall we had a very good experience and would definitely return

Very good massage! Fiori is the person saw for the massage. Very professional and gave a great service! I asked for a specific trea**ent and she delivered, no questions asked. My legs felt very relaxed and tension was released. I would highly recommend coming and getting a massage especially if you are into fitness.

We visited for 4 nights just as the hotel opened for the season. All in all this was a great place to chill.for a short break. Staff were all brilliant 5 out of 5. Food although the selection isn't huge the food was well cooked and tasty, especially enjoyed the Greek themed night. All inclusive drinks were not bad for local brands and drinks served in glass apart from of course around the pool which you expect. Location is nice beach at the front and 40 min or so walk to Hersonisos we enjoyed the walk but quite hilly on the way back for those less able but taxi can be arranged from hotel. The rooms are a little dated but we found the beds very comfy. The pools were freezing even though weather was very good for the time of year average of 23 or 24 each day. As start of season no entertainment on an evening and during the day only one bar open so you would want to be down by the main pool. All in all a very enjoyable stay and would return lots of different nationalities enjoying the hotel and a good vibe. No early rush either for a sun lounger which I always dread, not sure if that would be so easy in high season though.

I visited Annabelle and the beach was very nice, and Kostas was very good in the Spa, we had great service here the whole time and I am looking forward to coming here next summer because they had great cosmetics and friendly staff and employees. The food is also great
