The location is just perfect, in the main square of the town. All attractions are easy to reach. My room had the balcony towards the wonderful municipal garden, so the atmosphere was very quiet, with just the birds singing all day long. The staff is very kind and helped me every time when needed. The only less satisfactory point was the breakfast: every day the same, the warm food was not so warm and, even more disappointing, no vegetable except for a few lettuce leaves and some fried tomatoes. Nothing else...

Excelente localização, empreendimento reúne todas as condições para ser o melhor da ilha, contudo parece estar em contenção severa de recursos. A limpeza não abona nos quartos, é notório que fazem limpezas superficiais, quarto espaço no entanto o mini bar nada tem, produtos de higiene parecem misturados com água para render, os pequenos almoços são muito fracos, poucas opções, pouco cuidado, fraca qualidade, pouca comida. A piscina é de água gelada e o jacuzzi não é convidativo… hotel 5 estrelas que não deveria ter mais que 3 pelos serviços prestados, lamentável!

This is a beautiful hotel, centrally located in Angra but with piss poor customer service. We contacted them ahead of time to warn them of our late check in and received no response. We arrived after midnight and called the hotel multiple times as taxis were sparse at the airport...no one answered. We arrived and received multiple comments that they hadn't expected 5 people despite the fact that this is clearly written on the reservation and the sofa beds/linens were not prepared. At 2 am we switched rooms for the clerk's Convenience as she had a crappier room with a sofa bed set up. Once we started to settle in we realized this room did not have a working lock and actually had to move all of our belongings AGAIN to another room. At Check out when asked about our experience we disclosed all of the above. They admitted the reservation included all of the information but we still were offered nothing except defensive excuses. The breakfast was below average with similarly crappy service. Will never stay here again.

This place was really lovely for our young family. Overall, we were super happy. The location was great, right beside a public swimming pool area so lots of fun watching the kids jump off the peer. There was a bus stop meters for. The front Tran e which was great for getting to the downtown (5 mins) and a fun journey. 30 cents each! The pools were lovely, and you can’t beat the view. Good variety at breakfast, not much change day to day but we were always able to find something. We got one of the loft rooms but there was really zero sound barrier so it was hard to do anything once the kids were in bed. Some updating in the rooms would be good but given you’re an island in the Azores, it was easy to overlook that. Reception was lovely and very helpful. Lots of people spoke English or enough to communicate your needs. But above all, you can’t beat the view. It’s amazing!

We were hoping for a better experience; but this hotel really has seen better days unfortunately. The room was spacious but with a lot of stained, broken and just really old fittings. The pool was big and all ok, but again, the area around it and the pool bar had seen better days too. As we were driving and hiking most days, it was not a huge problem and we found the location just out of town great for walking in and having dinner at local restaurants. The breakfast was just dreadful though. Understaffed, dirty tables and floor, queues to get coffee or juice from machines, items emptied and not filled up. This did not even come close to breakfast at a 4 star hotel. All in all the hotel served its purpose but we would not come back to this hotel when revisiting this beautiful island.
