Hotels with Breakfast in Alvor

We stayed in the Alvor Atlantico Hotel for nearly three weeks and would recommend. We had a Studio Superior, with a Sea View. We were on the 7th floor and the view was absolutely beautiful, we could see all of the beach from the beach at the Atlantida Restaurant to the very end. It was lovely to wake up to. The hotel itself was very quiet, there's no bar, there is an indoor pool, which we didn't use and it was also very clean. The Studio was well equipped with a 2 ring cooker, fridge and plates and cutlery, we had a problem with the cooker and the kettle which was sorted out for us, no problem. We had one rainy day when we didn't fancy going into Alvor, you can book dinner (or breakfast) in the Dom Joao Hotel, which we did for the one night, it was only a 5 minute walk away. It was buffet style but was very good. It's a 20 minute walk into the harbour or centre of Alvor on the boardwalk which was a nice way to start the evening. We will definitely stay here again. The beds were comfortable, a bit hard for my personal liking, the shower was good with plenty of pressure, so all in all would recommend.

The staff . Filled with smiles and eagerness to help . One of them even did a magic trip for me. The vibe was high from walking in to check out. The friendliness is extending all through out the establishment , from management, reception, bar staff and room service. And they all eager to help and make my and my travel group extra special The venue Rooms are spotless and off the highest standards. The premium offering is worth it with a good additional selection of drinks . They offer sports and gym facilities too which are great (important for you ) And because I was traveling in group of only adults we also had an adults only pool which is a great escape from the family vibes. All in all , I’m already counting the days to the next stay . Highly recommended

Fantastic hotel. Rooms cleaned every day location great. Reception staff very helpful and always had a smile Big thank you to Thomas ( I think that’s his name) at reception. Almost every night we asked him for directions to restaurants/ bus stops etc and he was so good at explaining it to us. Lovely pool area small but quiet and relaxing Breakfast staff were fine but a simple smile in the morning would have been nice A bit “ grumpy “ to say the least. Umberto was just great. He’s the tall one. Always had the biggest smile for you when we walked in. Very very nice man. Would recommend this hotel. If I ever return to ALVOR , I will certainly return to this hotel. !!! Just to say the jet 2 rep was wonderful. I took ILL one morning and she went above and beyond to help me. Phoned later that day to check on me and also the following day too. Wish I could remember her name. So a big thank you to her !!!

The owners have spent money on the hotel to improve the look and appeal, although despite this there are several things that let it down. We booked a Superior sea-view room and on arrival (our room was not ready as we were early) we were informed that, our room would be on the second floor. We were then placed on the fourth floor and were assured that it was a Superior Sea-view room. The room was tastefully decorated, but a little tired with a partial sea-view - large tree obscuring the sea and with a small bathroom. First night; beds and pillows very uncomfortable, needless to say we didn’t have any good nights sleep for the week we were there (requested pillow exchanges which didn’t help). The room was very hot, twice we reported that the AC wasn’t cooling and asked for a fan which didn’t appear. Housekeeping didn’t refill the fridge with water, nor replenish teas/coffee’s. We asked several times for more water and wondered if they were chargeable? On checking with reception, we were assured they were complimentary - after this our fridge was restocked everyday. Bathroom exchange bidet and face clothes -took them away and didn’t leave replacements). With all our negatives, the location was perfect and staff where friendly.

Just back from a lovely stay here, the staff here are all so nice and helpful and are always saying hi to the kids. Free bus to the beach was a great amenity aswell. Would especially applause the beach bar staff during the day, especially the tall gent with the short brown hair and glasses. They are quick and very helpful and did great with first aid when my 3 year old had a nasty graze on his knee. Rooms are grand and pool was very clean too. My only slight issues would be a lot of the meat options were dry however fish every night was lovely and very fresh. Would also say the gym is very small and sp**** for €5 entry. Apart from that great hotel.

One of the best vacations ever. We loved Portugal and are already talking of coming back. People are friendly and amazing. Weather was great, warm and sunny every day. Accommodations at the Pestana Beach Villas was excellent. Very comfortable and clean with just a 2 minute walk from the most amazing beach. 10 min walk to Alvor. 10 minute drive from Portimao. Lots of shopping. If there were more stars I'd give all of them. Staff are the best. Very friendly and helpful. Our last day at the resort we went for breakfast and the girl at the serving desk gave us a free breakfast. Thanks again to everyone at the resort. We will be back.

Negative reviews in the past few months The championship course was lush and green and the. Greens were well maintained the. 9 golfers enjoyed the course . The hotels was spotlessly clean rooms were as good as ever Also the. Breakfast was good and plenty of choice . Check in was painless very smooth And as ever the staff at the hotel from the front desk to the pro shop were. Pleasant and very helpful and we will be back. In 2025
