2 Star Hotels in Almada

My husband chose this hotel. It was very clean, everything is white in dining room, heater provided and good selection of foods, eggs, wieners, waffles, toast, for heated food, yogurts, cereals, plenty fruits, meat and cheese, juice and coffee machine for varieties of choices. Our room was twin beds, large, private bath, great shower pressure! Tv is really tiny but English programs at least. They could redo old light fixtures and put newer chairs on the balcony rm 301. Room service daily which is nice and a shutter closes off balcony for noise at night. The beds are very firm though, could use a bamboo topper. Staff are helpful and friendly. Just a block from beach and shopping. Overall a great stay. Elevator was nice too!!

Quality price ratio for 4 days is CORRECT but without any more Major problem the kitchen staff is poor, I don't know whether it's the wake that bothers them or not, but if you don't like what you're doing changes of job. The beginning of a day is thought to be pleasant, and thanks to these ladies it is the opposite, we are attacked when there is no more coffee, believe that we will have to give it back to ourselves as we have the orange juice, the milk, ect... Otherwise it's overwhelming the little you will have because the coffee machines are never filled, and the cold coffee in the percolator is IMMONDE, and for breakfast you don't hope to eat your hungry because apart from bread, a butter stick , a banana and a yaourt you'll have nothing else shortly except that, the cleanness of the rooms is not incredible but it is correct, it's also bad that the terraces are shared but good is a youth hostel Fin word de l'histoire, it was not incredible at all

The good: Overall it was a good experience. My wife and I stayed there for 4 nights on a business trip. The hotel looks very good well kept, the room was very clean. We could tell that everyday the cleaning staff cleansed the whole bathroom. Fresh water in the room everyday, for free. Nothing to point out about the staff, they were quite nice. Really a 4-star hotel. The bad: We only had breakfast included because we had to spend the whole day away working. We got to the restaurant very early, about 7h30 am and the place was absolutely crowded with a large group (we could tell it was a group because they were all asian). Next day we had to sit outside for breakfast for the same reason (there are heaters on the terrace but they are not sufficient). We only had dinner in the restaurant once. It's either burguers or the HEALTHY Food&Beverage options. We ordered BOWL DA ESTAÇÃO and SALMON POKE. It was nothing special and quite expensive. On the last night at late hours, the room next door decided to have a party with loud music, loud talking and slamming doors. We called reception and they promptly intervened. (I think it should be a general policy in alls hotels to separate ”business” and ”vacation” guests.)
