This hostel is located about 3km walk from the center city, but does have some close by attractions (such as the Jeronimo's Monetary) The room is extremely small, if you seat on the edge of the bed and try to stretch your legs, you'll most likely hit the wall. We had our room replaced, as the first room had zero privacy for the toilet and the second room gave the illusion of privacy (as you can see in photos) We've not seen any of the management, as everything is done thru WhatsApp to contact them and they will respond. Breakfast was OK, it had a bit of choices but there was more cakes and cookies then actual food.

I would like to make it clear that the accommodations at this hostel were as expected, taking into account that currently it is basically what one is looking for, when it comes to stays for a short period of time. But I missed clearer and more accurate information in the booking confirmation email. Because when I arrived at the hotel door and pressed the doorbell dozens of times without getting an answer, it was very stressful! My phone is from Brazil and I hadn't bought a chip from Portugal. I had to seek help from third parties, unknown people, thank God I found someone who helped me, but even getting into our room was a long way! Something that should have been very simple became almost a nightmare. Therefore, I would like to suggest that when making a book with a client, make it clear in the email the step-by-step instructions on how to enter the hotel and also the room! Make it clear to the person that everything is done remotely and we never even know who we are talking to. Not everyone will get there with working internet on their cell phone, and making a phone call is out of the question due to the price it would cost, as it would be International! Just a suggestion, so it doesn't happen to other people. Regards

Really nice stay for the price. Strategic because it's very close to Belem station and most of bus/tram

My disappointment is not for the hostel itself. The Bridge is a very neat hostel, with a good bedroom, good breakfast, and good location. My disappointment is for those 4 women who stayed this hostel on March 31. This hostel is no smoking, not they just smoked, drank, and talked loudly at the 1F balcony until 2 am. Shame on these 4 women!

Few positive points however the negative points are numerous first of all the positive point: - quite close to Lisbon as well as Belem which makes the journey easier - you can go out during the day - only to sleep (clarification: with earplugs) let's come to the negative points... - hotel is constantly under construction (when it is not under construction it is the building under construction opposite it) - the bedding is not very relaxing, you might as well sleep on the floor - the insects which are omnipresent in the rooms and in the bathroom - the quality-price ratio is non-existent... at 100 euros a night you are not supposed to wake up with back pain just above the ants (( for the same price you can get a night for 80 bucks (or certainly less) in a 4 star hotel by the sea)) - it's not a hotel... - the furniture is assembled with the c*l - we hear the neighbors more than the TV

I chose this hostel for the value for money and the location. The photos represent the structure perfectly. I had the room on the 2nd floor (if you have people with mobility problems it is better to ask for a room on the first floor) with the bathroom in the room. The room was cleaned several times in 7 days. The girls are always very kind and helpful. I thought there was a terrace from which to see the view and instead they are the balconies on the 3rd floor of the rooms. I chose this hostel for the value for money and the location. Apart from good bedding and a suitable location, as it is well served by bus and tram, this hotel is very disappointing because the renovation is only a simple surface varnish that hides many faults that can ruin a stay. Poor soundproofing of the rooms, high humidity in the room due to the lack of ventilation, no storage cupboard for clothes, broken coffee machine, television from another age and a bathroom where nothing fit perfectly. In short, a low cost hotel located opposite a very noisy construction site all day until 8:00 p.m. for which you really should not pay too much. I still paid more than 60 euros per night without breakfast for not sleeping well. So it was not worth that price. My room with bathroom adjoined the front door which kept slamming as well as the breakfast room where the staff was noisy from 7 or 8 in the morning. 4 nights without sleep, I'm really exhausted and disappointed. Too bad because it has very good potential but the Management does not seem to want to upgrade it.

- 4 floors without elevator - Broken door leading to the terrace, the first night we had to sleep with it open and it was pouring rain because since they don't have a reception the staff didn't come until the next day (so our first night in Lisbon we only saw the walls of the room..) - Broken water cover - Water from the shower that comes out - smell of humidity - bathroom without a door so while one watches TV he sees how the other does his business and once you finish, the smell of having gone to the bathroom mixes with the smell of humidity leaving the room highly perfumed. -A lot of noise, you can hear everything that happens in the corridor and the nearby rooms. - If you want to contact them by phone, they give you anything, except to complain, they hang up. And so a couple more things, I don't usually put negative reviews but we were very disappointed from day one, I don't understand how a company that provides an accommodation service and some guests who have an understandable problem such as having a room open on a shared terrace with 3 other rooms, is not an instant solution. We have already learned to look at the reviews before booking and not be guided solely by the photos.

9m2 room with shower and toilet. Air conditioning, TV and towel. Very small, if you are lucky view of the bridge. But to our surprise our cockroach arrived!! No way to contact the establishment, unavailable and no reception. This place should be avoided urgently. Its location, not far from the belem. Transportation not far away.
