Hotels near Blue Bell Bar, Albufeira

Me my partner and 2 year old child have stayed here on 6 occasions in the past 15 month's each stay lasting between 1 and 2 weeks. We have stayed in the inatel Praia beach hotel rather than the other sister hotel up the hill. We have never had a bad experience with the hotel room nor with the staff. The breakfast caters to all be it vegetarians meat eaters or children and is quite tasty. The beach is amazing amd the cafe downstairs serves great burgers pizzas salads with prices not going above €7 per meal and large pints of local beers 500ml for €2.50 which is a bonus. The 1 thing I would like to advice people on who may be getting an early flight in or late flight home is check in is 4pm and checkout is 12pm so be mindful. But the hotel does provide a luggage room to leave all belongings in while you kill time. Overall an absolutely amazing place which is extremely child friendly and safe and I would recomend spending that little bit extra to get yourself a sea view or a terrace you won't be disappointed.

Fantastic ten stars super attentive staff I was with 3 children and they managed to provide an excellent location for the apartment. I strongly recommend. To be repeated next year without a doubt. Congratulations are all.

Great holiday hotel and staff were amazing food was out standing would definitely coming back again next year we could have stay another 10 days but had to go home as we had work tomorrow lol other than this we would have stayed lol everything is in walking distance and there loads and loads and loads of shops and restaurants spoilt for choice lol 10 out ot 10

The hotel is big and has several attractions, from indoor and outdoor pools and animation, gym, playground, all very good. Positive points - impeccable cleanliness, friendliness of staff, hot water, small appliances that were old but worked perfectly, cable TV with several channels. Negative points- the furniture is old, the mattresses are uncomfortable, at the reception I was attended by an inexperienced person and was being charged twice the value of the extra bed, very weak internet, we never managed to get a signal during our stay. A lot to improve for a good comfort of the guests.

We arrived early and check in was at 5pm. However, we were invited to get changed, leave our luggage and use the pool. V clean pool and restaurant. The 1 bed apartment, number 251, was perfect for my adult son and I. Sofa bed in living room, well-equipped kitchen, view of pool. Plenty of extra towels and sheeets in the cupboard. A member of staff drive us up to our apartment and stopped at the on-site supermarket to allow us to pick up a few basics, and then took us to the apartment and helped with luggage. The Casa Azul restaurant was wonderful. We ate there 2 evenings and had breakfast there 3 mornings. Lovely staff and food. Reception staff were multi-lingual and v helpful. Check out was at 10, but we weren't leaving til 8pm. Again we were invited to use the pool and use showers at the lower pool. An Uber to Old Town was about €5. A great break. Thank you! Dolores

Would stay again. approx. 1.5m from old town but less than 5 euro in Uber. Spotless clean. Staff very friendly and couldnt be more helpful. Great breakfast as part of room booking. Quiet at night but some bars and restaurants within 2 min walking distance.

Really nice place to stay, quiet area with a few nice restaurants and bars, small convenience store and chemist close by.the accommodation was really clean and cleaned regularly.beds were very comfortable. There is a decent sized swimming pool with a pool bar right beside it that does really good food and drinks.there is also a tennis court and games room. Villas barrocal is up on a hill, our balcony overlooked the seaside town of armacao de pera which is only a 5 minute Uber journey only costing €4.50, taxis will charge double that.uber is the cheapest way to travel around if you don’t hire a car. Armacao de pera is beautiful with plenty of restaurants and shops. Would definitely visit again!

Service was brilliant, apart from when groups arrived and then we felt a bit ignored. Hotel is nice and spacious, and rooms a good size. The hotel did have a corporate, conference feel about it so it depends what you are looking for in a stay. Breakfast was great and plenty of fresh food. The free taxi to the Marina worked fine, although you had to book (and can only book on the day). The only times available, though, ware 11 am, 6pm and 7 pm, so we ended up using Ubers to get back in the evening. (between 5 and 8 Euros so not too bad). They don't have as many restaurants as some hotels so the marina is the easy answer for food. The onsite Thai restaurant was really nice and worth a treat one evening. Overall a nice weeks stay in the sun which is what we wanted.

When we read reviews we were a bit unsure of our choice. We arrived on the 15th September our room was not available to 2 pm so we had some lunch in the hotel which was good. Our room 212 was perfect except for one small issue with the floor in the sitting area. We were offered to moved but declined due to the location and size of the room. The Housekeepers serviced the room everyday. Bed was so so comfortable. Breakfast was excellent plenty of everything hot or cold. The staff were excellent and friendly. We were always able to get a sun lounger. We chose Bed and Breakfast as we wanted to eat out and such a selection of restaurants. Highly recommend O’Neills Irish Bar food was excellent. Thank you for a wonderful stay at a lovely traditional Portuguese Hotel. We will be back again very soon.

My 5 stars goes to the apartments not Vilamoura itself. One of the best 3 star hotels we have stayed in A credit to the cleaners from the apartments to the public areas all spotless. Free air con included Rooms large and spacious, hob and microwave but no oven. Pool is freezing even in July but lovely once your dunked in! Plenty of sun beds. Spar around 5 mins walk. Use Uber much cheaper than local taxis reception will tell you not to use but just ignore we had no issue in 10 days , Uber for up to 4 people around 5 euros we got dropped off at restaurant il trio and walked down the steps to the harbour . Turn right by the Irish bar use the steps to the right this will bring you to a lovely square of restaurants. Vilamoura itself looks the part but I would not return. Look up and you will see the massage parlours and the **** supermarket, up the side and back streets you will see the gentlemen’s clubs and massage parlours with an atm conveniently situated outside of each. Although this will cause you no problems I couldn’t help but notice the girls outside the massage parlour, drunken men leaving barely able to walk never mind anything else ! On the back and side streets the girls do stand in the doorway calling to the men as they walk past, this will cause you no bother as they are spaced out and it’s done very discreetly, I just find it contradicts what Vilamoura claims to be. It’s easy to just ignore it and not see it if you choose not to. I’m sure it is happens everywhere I’ve just never noticed it before. The marina is lovely, food expensive nice for a few drinks sat overlooking the marina. Would never return though.
