Spent a week here. The hotel is in an excellent position opposite a lovely beach accessed through a beautiful park with fountains..also near to bars, shops and restaurants. Rooms are well appointed. clean, comfortable with loads of storage. Pristine bedding and towels. Food was perfectly acceptable.. quite Turkish but OK for us. The massive downside for us was that we were the only English staying, and the staff pandered more to the German guests who were by far the majority.For example the waiter would indicate a seaview table to them while we were just left to wander around looking for a place near to the buffet as I am disabled. Even worse...everyone, and I mean everyone smoked! Smokers would huddle together on the small outside area that caught the December sun....puffing away non stop... for us non smokers, we had to suffer the 'fug' or sit in the shade! Not the hotels fault of course but unpleasant! We would return to the hotel but not to the smokers.

Allocated a North facing room which I asked to change after a couple of nights as I spend quite a bit of time sat on the balcony and I enjoy some sun during the day. It was difficult to get the staff to understand and persuade them to agree to make the change. My lack of Turkish and their lack of English didn't help' Be aware that this hotel caters predominantly for or only to Germans, the staff mostly speak german and I didn't find anyone at all who spoke English other than the Guest relations person. Especially not the reception staff. This hotel provides numerous TV cannels for Germans and has 2 news channels for English speakers. Out of the 81 books I counted in their swap library there were only 2 in English and these were ones which I had donated in the past 5 days so don't expect to borrow or exchange books. Would I revisit? A huge no. Even if you paid me it wouldn't be enough to persuade me to undergo a really nasty experience that I paid quite a bit for. The location is great, the facilities are good but being the only English person staying there wasn't a pleasant experience, staff not understanding any English didn't help and I just wanted to go home after the first few days.

Customer contact = 0 Cleaning = 2 Meals = 0 Hygiene = 0 Position = 4 Facilities = 0 Going and camping in a tent would be a much better option, it shouldn't even be your last choice. It's a shame that tourism in Turkey has fallen to this state. It's a wonderful region, but it's a terrible facility.

Had a lovely 7days at this hotel lovely food great room we went all-inclusive close to all the shops and beautiful parks will definitely go back went with easyJet holidays fantastic no trouble getting a sunbed

Gardenia hotel was great ,i was there for 20 nights.they have good breakfast and delicious dinner(specially desserts 🍨),Good housekeeping and perfect location.i recommended. Note:they don't have free WiFi and you need to buy it but it's not expensive(20 eu for 3 weeks).if you have half-board pakage you will have to pay for your drinks during dinner. Dankeschön

The hotel is well located. To the beach about 50 meters through a very nice park with fountains. The hotel service and the cleanliness of the room were also unqualified. The food is very tasty and different every day, as well as delicious desserts that tempt with their appearance and taste. I recommend the hotel. (Room 515) Stay 10.08-17.08 2022.

I consider this hotel to be one of Alanya's "hidden gems". Great location, decent restaurant on the top floor with a panoramic view and efficient service made my stay at "Gardenia Hotel" very enjoyable. Noteworthy is the excellent cleanliness of the hotel - the cleaning ladies were really masters in their profession. Clean room, large balcony with garden furniture, large wardrobe, clean and comfortable bathroom. Bed comfortable - but no double bed only two singles. Efficient air conditioning. On the plus side, I also include waiter service in the restaurant and lobby bar - efficient, friendly and hard-working people. As for food - I have no comments, the menu for the day is available on the hotel channel. The choice of dishes and their quality are impeccable from my point of view. Fresh vegetables and fruits, tasty dishes, well seasoned without unnecessary spice or sweetness. Average quality coffee from a machine, tea - real Turkish;). Perfect location of the hotel, right next to the beach - it is reached by a pleasant garden with palm trees and a charming fountain. Beach service paid 25TL for each sunbed and umbrella - but it's a fair price for the quality of beach maintenance. Drinks and snacks available (paid service, moderate prices). Within walking distance of the hotel, the cable car, museum, cave, many restaurants, bars and cafes, and plenty of shops. I recommend the hotel to mature people looking for a quiet, clean hotel with good value for money location and quality of services offered. Usually I don't go back to the same place twice, but for "Gardenia" I would make an exception.

Good hotel, reasonable rooms with good beds, some rooms have a sea view. Near the beach 50 meters, close to the main street and the center with many shops and restaurants. Wonderful and helpful staff. The hotel Resturang is located on the 5th floor with a magnificent view of the sea and the surroundings. The hotel has a pool area with many sunbeds and parasols but unfortunately no pool bar. The bar is by the reception.
