Exceptional breakfast, attentive staff, and a beautiful pool with sea views complement the spacious rooms with private terraces and vineyard access. However, some guests found the food and wine overpriced.

This is a place we were truly sad to leave. The grounds, the pool, the rooms, the view were all stupendous. That said, the welcoming, warm, and highly skilled staff were what made the experience unforgettable. The service is impeccable in every way. The included breakfast is a feast of locally sourced produce, dairy, fruit and breads...all fresh and delicious. The food and drink at the restaurant were wonderful and the staff were always happy to accommodate our tastes and preferences. Don't miss the tour of the vineyard and the tasting of the delectable wines produced from grapes grown on the property. Claude, the sommelier, is knowledgable and amiable. The experience was educational, but more importantly, fun. Every detail of our stay was thoroughly considered and of the highest quality. This a very special place.

Stunning luxury retreat in a rural Menorca setting. Surrounded by olive groves and stone walls, this hotel offered an oasis of comfort and luxury with beautiful ocean views. Our ocean view room was spectacular and had two amazing patios. The beds were divinely comfortable. We were with a group of 22 people and everyone was in heaven!

First impressions were excellent; beautiful gardens and pool area, total tranquillity, friendly receptionist, welcome drink on the terrace. However on being shown to the room we were hugely disappointed. Although large and spacious it seemed damp and was cold (even though it was 25° outside). We had to ask for a heater! The furniture on the terrace (which overlooked a few olive trees and what I can only describe as a pile of rubble) was old and damp, you certainly wouldn’t want to sit on it with or without a pretty view. We ate in the restaurant in the evening after an aperitif in the garden. A nice touch would be to put candles on the tables in the garden. Once in the restaurant we were absolutely ignored for a while until someone finally came to show us to our table. The service started out being good but then became sporadic. Finesse was certainly lacking in a restaurant of this standard. We were left to pour our own wine, the food was not of a quality one would expect of an establishment at this level, there were no finger bowls to cleanse hands after de-shelling prawns, coffee was not offered and by the end we felt somewhat cheated. On the whole a rather disappointing stay.

It’s a beautiful setting and gorgeous hotel. We had a nice superior room on the second floor with outside terrace. Breakfast is very very good and pool and bathing area are fabulous. Lovely little gym. Complimentary yoga every day was great. Generous with linens - beach towels etc. The restaurant is heavily overpriced and food can be v salty. You only get 1 litre of water per person free a day. They charge guests for wine tours and you can buy the wine cheaper offsite than on: which feels odd. We had to push hard for a decent table the nights we ate at the restaurant and while friendly overall, service can sometimes be a bit supercilious.

We visited the restaurant that we read was ‘michelin star material’. Unfortunately very far from that. The food is good (if you go I recommend the carpaccio de gambas and the cheasecake’ and the setting is nice outside (not so much inside). The wine list is also correct. The big issue that spoils the experience is service that is really very poor. We were asked to be on time for the reservation when they confirmed by phone, but we waited 30’ at our table before someone would come… I ordered red wine twice and it never came… it seems the service is in the hands of junior staff and there is no one coordinating ( there is no maitre d’). All in all a pity given the effort that was put in the set up…

I stayed here with my husband and son. The concierge staff was among the rudest I have ever encountered. We had asked one week in advance to modify our stay. So within the cancellation policy were subject to 50%. Instead of staying 5 nights we wanted to stay 4, and the hotel refused to accommodate us. I felt the bathroom and shower were not acceptable for $1K/night (see picture). When I said something to the manager, he told me that I was finding any excuse to complain because they wouldn't honor my cancellation request, and that no one has ever complained about the showers. For a guest paying $8K, I have never felt so disrespected. I cannot recommend this hotel due to the lack of hospitality. Wooden doors were filled with termites. We asked or a kids menu at the restaurant, were told they didn't have one, and then saw pasta sent out to another table. But instead had to pay 40 euro for my 1-yr old son to have the risotto on the menu. No other managers ever checked us on during our stay after knowing we had issues. Website pictures are misleading

So pretty. The white buildings against the dark blue sky. The citrus and pine scents everywhere. Friendly staff. Delicious breakfast buffet that can be eaten outside. Beautiful pool overlook a gorgeous view of the island down below. We had a room practically right in the vineyard. Wish I could have stayed here longer!

We were here 2 nights as part of a group cycling trip. The grounds are beautifully maintained, the room was spacious and comfortable, with a small private outdoor space. They have a vineyard and the wine we sampled was good. Breakfast was very nice. We were very happy to be here and sad to leave.

Lovely, design forward hotel incorporating the indigenous Menorcan architecture and set amongst a vineyard. Staff are friendly and detail oriented as expected with such a room price. And the excursions are thoughtful and lovely. Would reccommend the equestrian experience with Matteo and also the beautiful day long excursion cruising along the coast aboard a modern minorcan motor yacht. The hotel is also noted for it haute cuisine, especially at dinner, and guests come from other spots on the island to dine. DO NOTE that the hotel is a bit isolated so you will need a vehicle to take you to sites as well as to lunch and dinner if you choose not to dine at the hotel which has no other evening dining options except for the gastronomy forward pushing menu.
