We had a super 4 nights here, great location, less than 5 minutes stroll into Aigues Mortes. Everything in the room snd hotel worked well. Beds comfortable, rooms ok if a little bit compact. The owners were friendly and helpful, and had a sense of humour- early in the season though, but the hotel was pretty full. Great location able to access the canal Rhine a Sete directly from the hotel backyard. The breakfast is outstanding, don’t be a mug book it! We found out the hard way that it cannot be beaten. Particularly thoughtful is the litre of water provided every day. I like the tea facilities provided in the common area - better than in the room. Pool was clean and all the Sun loungers in good condition. Super markets 5 minutes slow walk away down the canal bank. We would definitely recommend this place and stay again if we return to aigues Norte

Super little hotel. Clean, comfortable, lovely staff. Good English spoken but they are happy to accommodate attempts to speak French! Excellent breakfast. Easy 10 minute stroll into town. Parking in Aigues Mortes can be tricky so much better to stay here, outside the walls and with adequate parking, and walk in. Highly recommended

Having parked in the private car park the walk to reception was seconds away. Check in was quick and easy. The room was modern and clean with a comfortable bed, walk in shower and fridge. Our room had a door opening onto a terrace overlooking the canal, with patio furniture and sun loungers were available. The air conditioning was great. No lift is available. WiFi is available and worked fine. There is a nice swimming pool which we did not try as we arrived into the evening. Unfortunately there was no restaurant on site but there were a number within 5 - 10 minutes walk to suit most tastes. Breakfast was outstanding and great value for money. Items were plentiful and varied. I wish we could have stopped longer, next time we are in the area we certainly will.

A bit expensive for what you get. Basic room and a small pool. Overall a good place to stay for a few nights.

Hotel Canal Aigues Mortes turn out to be even more charming and friendly than expected .. We had a terribly delayed flight from The US , making us arrive at the hotel by 12 am.
The owner sent very nice directions to access the hotel that late . The bed is one the best I slept in lately ... enjoyed the wonderful array at breakfast .The owners are plaisant and ready to help .
We very much enjoyed our stay there .

We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Canal. The hotel is a 15 minute walk to the town of Aigues Mortes and there is a supermarket (SuperU)with an outdoor self-service laundry nearby. The staff at the hotel were very helpful and the rooms were spacious and clean. Some reviewers have commented on the noise from cars parking late at night. We had no such problems and one member of our family was staying in a room on the ground floor. Would definitely stay there again.

The hotel is well located, only 7 to 8 minutes walk, along the canal, to the old city walls. It is easy to reach by car and there is plenty of free parking available on hotel grounds. The room is rather small but nicely decorated. Both persons at the reception were extremely friendly and helpful and gave us indications not only for the city but also for other interesting places to visit in the region.
