La Maison Palmier Abidjan, a Member of Design Hotels

A wonderful place Côte d'Ivoire is beautiful !!! La Maison Palmier very beautiful place ☺️ . The dishes are very good all the dishes are delicious… the hotel is very relaxing , I really had the strength for my social actions towards the poor children for who should go to school ; it was really fantastic Ivory Coast is really a beautiful country, I was very well received by the hotel staff the waiters are very polite speaks very well 🤩 especially the waitress davilla very nice professional she was very kind !! I highly recommended I will come back there on vacation I hope to find the same staff and the same setting.. thank you very much to davilla 😘😘😘

My wife and I visited La Mansion Palmier for our anniversary. The hotel looked beautiful from the outside and the pool area was amazing. The staff were welcoming and attentive. We wanted something special, so we booked a table for dinner. The bread and tuna appetizer were delicious, and the tuna tartar starter was also very nice, though it was decorated with a wilted flower and undressed rocket. My wife ordered fresh tuna - Well done, but it came out pink and cold in the center. They rectified it and it came out again five minutes later. Not wanting my wife to eat alone,i waited for her food to arrive back, when it did, I started to eat my lamb and realized it was also raw - ordered pink, I sent it back and when it returned, it was just warmed and still raw - Lamb is to be served Pink or well done, its not like a piece of beef which has many different cooking temperatures. The flavors from the lamb were confused, just like us when we left this place. The main meals were very average and way overpriced. There was no starch with any of the meals, so we paid a lot for a raw piece of lamb and lumpy puree - honestly, it looked like a meal a culinary student had plated - this plate was 34EURO!!!! WHAT?! In between our main and dessert, a man, maybe the manager, who had just smoked a cigarette approached us. The smell was very strong, and we didn't want that near us. He asked if everything was okay, but this was after two main meals that were sent back and we were visibly annoyed. There were no apologies from anyone other than the waiters, and certainly no offers of anything to soften the blow for spending 95000CFA Total (145EURO) on a very average meal. It was disappointing. After this, the waiting staff were cold to me and wouldn't give me any eye contact, would only speak to my wife & i felt ignored. Not sure if this is typical here.. Ignore the problem and it will go away. For dessert, we shared profiteroles for 10000CFA, plus an extra charge of 3000CFA for some reason? (20 Euro total) The portion was large enough for us to share and the chocolate sauce was nice, but there was a huge pile of cream, which might explain the extra cost - Again extremely over priced for what we received, very disappointing. We had hoped to spend the night there drinking wine and relaxing, but felt we had to leave quickly. My advice would be for the restaurant to concentrate on the quality of the food & customer service and to stop charging ridiculous prices for expectations they cannot live up to - i would never visit this hotel again, not even if it was a gift, it totally ruined our celebration, i could cook better myself at home. i think we would of been happier going to a local maqui for some bbq chicken and doppel. 10/10 Avoid the restaurant in the evening - go somewhere else cheaper and more to your taste in the town nearby.

The room was very small, and in the back. There were mosquitoes that bit me. The worst part is that I could not enjoyed the facility because there were conferences happening, and I was not able to go around the pool nor viewed the place. I have no idea what the place looks like because the staff told me That I was not able to go near the pool or in the area where the conferences were happening. Overall, I did not enjoy my stay at all because I stayed in one room, unable to go outside and view the hotel. I was not able to take pictures because I was constraint to one room.

One of the nicest hotels I ever stayed at. It is gorgeous, well maintained, so clean! The pool is small but inviting. It is pristine. Food is great although expensive. Its an oasis in the city. They have their own scent diffused from the ceilings and the hotel smells delicious. the room is stunning! the bathroom is gorgeous. I loved staying at this hotel. As a solo business traveler, I don't venture out much, but it is safe to walk in the area and there is a big supermarket with a few shops that are walking distance. I ate mostly at the hotel when I was not working.

This place really is excellent. I have given very few 5 star reviews over the years but this place really deserves it. Check in was fast and friendly and my Bonvoy Ambassador status was recognized with a room upgrade to a nice spacious room. All aspects of the room were very comfortable. Great air-con, very comfy bed, good desk, enough closet space, spacious bath, good water pressure... all very nice. The lunches and dinners as well as the service in the bar are also excellent. Very expensive, but excellent. Gym was enough with 1 elliptical, 2 bikes and 3 treadmills and a few dumbbells, a bench, and a pulley machine. The only problem with the place is the breakfast. It's a makeshift buffet and none of the hot food (sausages, eggs, porridge, etc) is hot. In fact it's room temperature. So the only edible breakfast foods are bread and fruit, and the fruit is a very limited selection. Nevertheless, I'll stay here again and hope they get proper warming/serving equipment for the breakfast.

While visiting for SARA 2023 in Abidjan, I tried Maison Palmier. Having tested the largest hotels in the city, Maison Palmier is by far the best. The service is of great quality. Thanks to the entire team and especially to Miss Alexandra for her professionalism. Cleanliness was ensured. The restaurant was excellent. See you very soon.

I would never have imagined that such a decor was hidden behind the white walls of the palm house, it’s simply beautiful. Thanks to a business appointment, I went there and decided to satisfy my hunger. The butler Constantin with whom I dealt advised me the peach of the day, grouper and I was completely satisfied with both the service and the flavor of the dish. I will come back for sure, your hotel is a masterpiece.

It was my first time staying at la maison palmier , very nice place , rooms are clean , service excellent, breakfast wonderful. I will come again . Strongly recommend this place
