Aberystwyth Park Lodge Hotel

High standard of linen and furnishings. Sparklingly clean. Large shower cubicle. Great to have free parking in Aberystwyth. Had a double with a single bed if needed. Didn't need to eat on site so can't review the quality of meals. Will definitely stay again.

When we arrived staff were welcoming and friendly, room was clean and very comfortable, quite spacious too. On our first night we ate in the restaurant at the hotel and were very impressed with the quality and taste of our meals, they were very reasonably sized as well. We enjoyed the food so much we also ate there on the second night. We had breakfast in the restaurant, again good quality and great tasting food. Car parking was easy and if needed McDonalds, Next (Costa inside) and Morrisons are easy walking distance. Despite the location right next to a roundabout, didn't really notice traffic noise in the evening when going to sleep. Would definitely recommend to others and would stay here again if in need of a hotel in the area.

AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING. My family member is very fussy and they achieved what she wanted. A lasagne. Such a clean place and the worker we had was lush i think her name was Rebecca she deserves a bloody raise. Next time i go i hope to see her being the manager.

We often stay at the hotel and find it a welcoming break and enjoy the food in the restaurant. On our most recent visit I took note of the new vegan and allergies menu as well as the standard menu. I can recommend the delicious chickpea and pumpkin seed tagine as a vegan dish. From the main menu the fish cakes florentine were delicious. I cannot imagine that the new menu does not cater for every taste now.

Excellent service and a lovely room. The bed was very big and very comfortable. The only negative was that the room was cold even though the radiator was up high. There was a double shower and the water pressure and temperature was perfect. The hotel is just across the road from a McDonald’s but we had a lovely breakfast in the hotel restaurant. Overall a great hotel.

Last minute break. A chance to spend a few quiet days at the hotel and enjoy the excellent breakfasts and superb choices on the large menu, along with the vegan and vegetarian options. I have enjoyed every meal at the Park Lodge.

Loud buzzing from the electrics in the room. Only way to make it stop was to remove the door card. Front desk not interested. Despite being mid week loud drink party in room next door. Called to reception who did tell them to be quiet but staff made it seem like an effort. I’ll be avoiding this place in future.

We came for a weekend to visit my parents and my father had rung the previous Tuesday to book a table for a lunchtime meal. My dad is disabled so his needs in terms of where he is seated is slightly different for reasons I won’t go into. On arriving my father told the young man behind the bar we had booked and he had requested a specific table which the receptionist had confirmed on the phone. The young man told my dad in a rude manner there was no booking, clearly my dad was quite upset and this was not picked up by the gent who continued in his rude tone. Rather than just apologise and say he would sort out another window seat close to the lobby he directed us to a central table and continued in his rude manner. I would recommend that you give this young lad some customer service training as his tone and manner were totally out of order. As a contrast the waitresses were very polite and helpful.

Excellent hotel, very very clean rooms are spacious and well equipped. The beds are so comfortable. The restaurant was spotless and service very good! The food was tasty and so was the breakfast. Would recommend as the location is ok not too far into town.
