Was what I expected, a dorm style room with hard beds. Not complaining for the price we paid. A little cool in our basement room until we figured to block the gap in the door with a towel. Location was very convenient as I had an event at York U. Fairly quiet. Would have been nice to have a microwave in the room. Overall 4 out of 5 rating.

Quiet Room Around York University Subway
Toronto | 0.71km from York University
Very nice host. I was for most part the only guest and therefore very good value for the price I paid. The room was small but good and I could get a good rest for my conference visit in downtown Toronto. Walk to Subway less than 10 minutes

The parking lot is large and free, it is very suitable for self-driving tour. There are several fast food restaurants nearby, and there is a gas station at the door, which is more convenient. It takes less than half an hour to get to the subway Pioneer Village Station. The breakfast at the hotel is the same, and some changes are better.

The hotel is the best that is cheap. Hotel service, value for money, warm bean coffee is also available in the hotel, and the room size is large and spacious. The staff were friendly and happy.

Best Western Plus Toronto North York Hotel & Suites

We booked the king suit since we thought it comes with Jacuzzi as it can be seen in the pictures. However, when we got there, we realized our room doesn't have jacuzzi, after I complained I was told that it's not their fault and Trip.com is responsible for the pictures they have on their platform (as a third party)! They only have 2 or 3 rooms with Jacuzzi, so make sure to check with them before finalizing your booking if Jacuzzi is a motive for you to stay here!!
Also, I didn't like the smell in the living room! & they could definitely do a better job cleaning the bath rooms, however in general, our stay was not that bad!!!

Montecassino Hotel & Suites

The facilities in this hotel are very old. I stayed in an executive suite. When I entered the hall, it was very dark. There were no ceiling lamps, mineral water, or toothbrushes or toothpaste. The air conditioner in the bedroom was on the floor and there was a sound when you turned it on. It made me hit the jet for breakfast. It's too shabby, except for bread and jam. The most important thing is that I booked online and paid for it. When I checked in, I was charged 200 Canadian dollars. I swiped my card. I stayed one night first to see if the environment was not good, so I changed places again. When I checked out, I asked about the deposit. The front desk told me that it would take one working day for the deposit to be refunded. I had to go back to my country and wait.

Clean and friendly. Went for Canadas Wonderland. Was a good value for that and not too fat away. Seemed to be mostly business travelers when we went, pool and hot tub were usually free.
My daughter was disappointed that the slide was broken and looked like it has been broken for a while. No free breakfast.

It was ok. The lastest we could check out was 12pm, we were about 15 minutes after check out time but it was not an issue. The room itself was clean for the most part. Didn't check for wifi, but from what I understand it was available. Breakfast was complimentary but we didn't stick around for it.

4.0/5Very Good
Great location
The room is okay compared to the price
But check-in is long and difficult, especially for foreign guests
It is more convenient to send check-in information via email
fancy location, near Chinatown; the staff is quite nice and free towel is provided; Large baggage can only by stored in a tiny space located downstairs. Overall, it is a good choice for people who are backpackers or looking for a 1-2 day stay

5.0/5Perfect
The location is very good. Subway Line 1 and Line 2 are nearby. The room is spacious and bright. There are not many types of breakfast. Since the dining space is not large, you can eat in the upstairs room. It is very suitable for family outings.
This hotel is just perfect!!! Please book this hotel. Kind staff, okay breakfast, awesome room with decent price....the only thing I dislike was no bathtub and small toilet. Otherwise, everything is great!!!
My review may be different from other's experience, but I got a room that fits on the option that I payed for. As I am not a picky traveller, I was okay that I got single room with private bathroom.
If you are a traveller who walks a lot and takes transportation and woman, you may want to be little bit careful as surroundings are houses and dark at night time.
Streetcars and the nearest subway are not that far (streetcars: about 5 mins / subway: 10 mins). At dawn, if you want to buy something, you need to go to convenience store which is about 15-20 mins away. If you are nighttime traveller and active at nighttime, you may want to choose different place. Otherwise, I think this is a budget-matching place to take a sleep.
My room didn't have hair dryer, so be aware of this lol.
Beside some parts, I was okay with staying here. Refrigerator and microwave was there so I had some latenight meal, so this was good.
During summer, this is going to be little harsh as it didn't have air conditioner (or the ventilator may give you a cool air during summer; I had hot air as I travelled in winter).
Food was under average for a Hotel of this status.
I ate in room as well as at the lobby restaurant twice during my two night stay.
Just not putting any effort for that little bit extra that is needed to get a thumbs up and have people remembering that this Hotel respects food too.
The location of this hotel is unbeatable, easily accessible from Toronto Pearson International Airport by UP Express and the subway. And has lots of restaurants nearby. Friendly service and thanks for the free, warm cookie! The room and furniture were a bit dated, and the bedding was not as smooth as I wanted it to be, but I could bear with it for two nights. I will consider staying here again next time I go to Toronto. :)
Highly recommended! Great location, easy parking, and fantastic service. Staff are caring, kind, and are edger to assist and ensure you have a memorable experience.
Looking forward to my next visit.
The hotel’s location is excellent – an easy train ride from the airport to downtown, and just a 10-minute walk from the station. There’s a Starbucks right across the street, which was very convenient.
On the evening of check-in, there was live music in the lobby, creating a lively, vibrant atmosphere. The room itself was spacious with great amenities, including a stovetop and kitchenware, allowing us to make breakfast and simple meals – a rare and much-appreciated feature! The shower was great, and soundproofing was well done.
The only minor issue was that I couldn’t connect my computer to the TV screen for easier work setup. The screen mirroring feature didn’t work, and the connecting cable was quite short, but since it wasn’t essential, I didn’t contact the front desk.
Overall, a wonderful stay – 4.5/5!
