location is good as it is connected to many metro lines and there are alot of food options in the area with many operating till late. staff are quite helpful if you have any enquiries or requests. clealiness is quite good in general. the smart toilet gets annoying after awhile as it will open whenever it detects someone. there is also some foul smell emitting from the bathroom sometimes. aircon is not the best and does not reflect the temperature shown well, so the room can be stuffy at times. overall a good stay if you're not fussy.

I will choose this B&B every time I come to Shanghai, because I can rest assured that the location of the room is excellent, opposite the subway entrance, and there are three subway lines within 200 meters of the door. This time it was the fifth day of Alila Shanghai's opening. As soon as I returned to Shanghai, I arranged time to come and experience it. In the Taikoo Hui business district on Nanjing West Road, it forms a three-legged confrontation with the nearby Yongshe and Sukaitai. It can even radiate to St. Regis, The Puli, etc. to compete for a certain number of customers. The service is great. Joyce is a very nice person and answered most of my questions. The coordination between various departments is also very good, reaching the top level of C6, but it may also be due to the new opening. Catering: The hotel has Yingting for Japanese set meals and set meals, Weihai 500 Chinese restaurant, and the bar Secret Roof. Tea banquets can be used for afternoon tea and business chats. Breakfast is also eaten at Yingting. The breakfast level is very high, and it can enter the first echelon in Shanghai. In terms of quality, I personally think it is slightly better than the Yongshe and Capella. Fantastic location. It is just meters away from the subway station and HKRI Taikoo Hui shopping mall with some very nice restaurants. It just a short walk to Wu Jiang Road which is famous for restaurants, food stalls, bakeries and cafes. The unit we stayed has 2 big rooms. They are clean and have everything we needed. The owner is very kind and supplied water and plenty of seasonal fruits. Very happy with this property.

This hotel is great! It's my first time in China with limit of budget and here is very reasonable price. The location is close to touristic area, delecious Mala a, train station and easy to find. But for traveller who can't speak Chinese you might confuse the name with another hotel on the map. So, better to ask receptionist to pin location for you if you want to use Didi. Room and facilities is nice and spacious more than expected I stayed in Family room type on the 1st night. Bed is great, toilet is clean with automatic toilet flushing, movie screen is very huge! Then I extend 3 more nights when my brother arrived but the room was fully booked so I had to switch to small room with no window. It was good and cheap but for none smoker, you might smell smoke easily. On the lobby, you can get free water, coke, popcorn, tea and coffee. Very good! The best is receptionist!!! They are very nice and helpful. I can't speak any Chinese and they can't speak Endlish but they tried to communication via translator which is really helpful. I definately recommend to new traveler in China who need to save budget same as me.

Jen 高畅畅 was the reason why we stayed here so long. We booked this place, had a problem on trip, and she stayed behind after work to help book and call a other hotel when this was fully booked. We returned here and stayed for an additional week and a half. She speaks great english. The others couldn't but they'd try to help me through translation. Besides her, the hotel pictures sometimes did not do it justice. It was smaller than how I'd imagine it through the pictures. The price is the cheapest in the area and the room was reasonable. We had a double bed with window. There's a mesh screen so we aren't able to fully ”open” the window and there isn't much of a view. More like some machinery. That was the same with my friends room who also got a room with a window. Also our bathroom kinda smelled like pee when we first came in. Otherwise, I liked that they replaced our toilet paper, 2 water bottles, and slippers every day. They also provide like 5 hangers. The AC was nice and cold. Doors are thin. You can hear the person outside your door. They refill the shampoo when it ran out. We stayed here a total of about 2 weeks. This place was near the popular areas, so everything I needed was walkable. Yes, I'd stay here again mostly because of the price. There's no place to store luggage after check in as the front office is super tiny. Some people store it outside the front but that is at your own risk.

Very good experience in this hotel. We booked 3 double rooms twice. Everything was perfect. We tried the breakfast in the hotel wich was also very good. The swimming pool is also a plus, even though it's a bit small but enough to just have some relaxing time in the water. The swimming cap is mandatory so better to get his own. The location is very convenient, near to metro stations and lots of restaurants and bars nearby. We will come back to this hotel for sure!

The place is great, clean, modern and with good location. Exactly like in the pictures. 02 kinds of bedroom: one slightly bigger (facing the street) and the other facing the neighborhood in the back (more silent, stayed in this one). Staff polite and helpful, no english. Metro station 1km away (Zhoupu). Is 40 minutes metro to pudong touristic center. But right in front there's a pedestrian street and a mall nearby that gives us the feeling of ”China for chinese” (like we saw in smaller cities). It was worthy to stay here. The price is good and we will come back if we have the opportunity.
