Great hotel, fantastic location and service.
Utkan and all team was so nice and friendly. Overall, the staff tried to anticipate every request, we were very impressed.
The hotel is very close to all the main attractions of Istanbul, it was interesting to explore the old streets of the ancient city.
I would especially like to highlight the hotel rooftop with its view like from an old postcard. Drinking a morning cappuccino at dawn with a view of the Golden Horn is an unforgettable moment in life.
Definitely recommend it.
Fail2bananaFail2bananaThe hotel left me with mixed feelings. On its own, it's genuinely good: spacious and clean rooms, comfortable beds and pillows, daily housekeeping, no issues with shower water, and stable Wi-Fi throughout the property. The staff is very polite and responsive, and there are Russian-speaking employees. When we asked to change rooms, it was done quickly and without any hassle.
However, there's one huge drawback that ruined the entire stay. For the first three nights, we stayed in room 1001 on the first floor. Directly beneath the windows is the 'Gagarin' bar, where music and noise continue practically until five in the morning. It was impossible to sleep, even with earplugs. Furthermore, due to its proximity to the reception, everything happening in the corridor was perfectly audible. In the room itself, the toilet was also slightly leaking.
After moving to a different building, it became noticeably quieter, but complete silence was still elusive. For those who come for an active vacation and just want a good night's sleep in the evening, this could be a serious problem.
The breakfasts are quite decent, but without much variety – a solid 4 out of 5 in my opinion.
Overall, I'd rate the hotel a 4 out of 5. It has an excellent location, good rooms, and wonderful staff. But I personally won't return for one reason only: I couldn't get a decent night's sleep here. It's a real shame, because in all other respects, the hotel truly deserves a high rating.
The photos only show the bed from the first room, it's definitely half a meter high, very tall and comfortable 😅 and everything else is from the other building, right next to the descent to the dining hall, where all the cooking was perfectly audible from around 6 AM :(
Victoria EleyVictoria EleyWe had an overnight layover in Istanbul and this was the perfect spot to rest. Upon arrival, the front desk staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. We got hot tea, water, and help with carrying our baggage to our rooms. We had to leave for the airport at 7am the next morning (breakfast starts at 7am) and the staff were insistent that they would have it ready early at 6:45am just so we could eat before we left.
I highly recommend this hotel and will stay again for any future layovers!

The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Our room was spacious, beautifully furnished, and offered everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location was also excellent, making it easy to explore Istanbul’s attractions while enjoying a peaceful atmosphere.
ammarHTvammarHTvThis hotel is very nice for your budget it like 90 RM for a night the room is very big i dint expect the room is big like 5 atar hotel for me as solo traveller it was very comfortable.For who stay only for airport i recommended stay at here if u like using public transport like bus it was easy H-6 to airport u need just walk a liitle more to a middle street it more easier to spot a bus over there.

Guest UserGuest Usergreat place for someone who wnts to have a quiet night before flying back and who doesn't want to spend a fortune on taxis as this hotel is super close to the metro station ( you can even walk to the hotel from the metro station!). It's only two stations away from the airport, so it won't take long.
The room was a bit small but I didn't have a lot of luggage so it was enough for me.
Bathroom was spotless clean.
I highly recommend it, i would definitely go back.

Guest UserGuest UserThe stay was okay overall. The hotel has a convenient location near Taksim, and everything was generally normal for a short stay. The staff were fine and the room was acceptable.
However, the air conditioning was not working properly, and the fridge was also not working. There was also an unpleasant smell in the room/bathroom. The toilet and bathroom were quite small and narrow.
Overall, it was an average stay. The location is good, but the hotel could improve the room facilities, especially the air conditioning, fridge, cleanliness and bathroom.
ANASJOANASJOI had a very pleasant stay at Four Sides Lion Hotel Taksim. The location is excellent, just a short walk from Taksim Square, metro stations, restaurants, and shops, which made it very convenient for exploring Istanbul. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with any request.
The room was clean, cozy, and comfortable. I especially liked the bed and pillows, which helped me sleep very well after long day. The hotel offers good value for money, and overall I enjoyed my stay very much. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul.Trending Searches
