My wife and I were delighted by our recent stay at the Max Hotel and wish to thank all those who made our brief stay in Paris so memorable. The Max Hotel is conveniently situared on a relatively quiet, tree lined avenue with nearby amenities, including cafes. From the hotel it was an enjoyable, forty five minute walk to the Louvre and Pompadue centre, the objectives of our visit The Max Hotel is a boutique hotel with individual charm and character.  We chose a deluxe room which provided sufficient space for our two night stay. The furniture is simple yet very stylish .  The double bed was very comfortable with a thick, firm mattress and high quality, cotton sheets. The room walls were clad with a vynle material which was very effective in reducing the level of noise, which, together with an almost silent but very effective air conditioning system, povided for two very comfortable and undisturbed nights sleep. The room and bathroom were very clean and fresh and high quality, organic bathroom products were provided. The reception staff are charming and helpful which added to the enjoyment of our stay at the Max hotel. Super buffet breakfast with high quality and fresh produce. If I should ever pass through Paris again I would undoubtedly stay at the Max hotel and I have no hesitation of recommending it to others.

Small Ibis Styles hotel located a few minutes walk from the Alesia metro station. Lovely quiet neighbour with lots of restaurants within easy walking distance. You can walk to the centre of Paris within an hour and the metro and other public transport are easily accessible. The rooms are compact but contain everything you need and the pillows are comfy. Breakfast buffet is a good French breakfast with a fresh orange juice machine.

We recently stayed in this hotel as we were having renovations in our apartment. The first thing we noticed was the natural and warm professionalism of the lady on the front desk. Some people are just perfect for working with the public, and it was the case here. Always a natural smile, and ready to help or answer any queries without any hesitation. There is no lift in the hotel, and the stairs are very narrow, which made it a bit complicated with a large suitcase. The lady on the desk offered to help, but we managed. The room was newly renovated, and it was quite small, but this is par for the course in Paris. It had a window to a charming courtyard which was so incredibly quiet, we were able to sleep with the window open without any problems. The sliding door on the bathroom was quite a surprise but we soon got used to it. It was the first time we had stayed in a hotel where there was already a good, strong fan in the room upon our arrival, which was necessary as it was quite warm. The lady who was working in the breakfast room sometimes seemed a bit overwhelmed, especially on our last day, when it was very busy and she was working alone. The gentleman on the front desk as we were leaving was very friendly and professional too. All in all I would like to thank to thank the staff for their warm welcome and help. Keep up the good work ;)

I Stayed here with my two children, it is supposed to be a 4 star hotel? The Rooms I chose a junior family suite, nice idea however they are far too small, The decor is so dark, it’s oppressive and claustrophobic with little natural light. It was decorated and furnished in the style of a teenagers bedroom with dark brown and dark turquoise peeling paper on the walls and tired broken furniture to match in the same dark colours. The bathroom was in fact a tiny shower room with barely enough room for one person, with an equally small toilet in the connecting bedroom. The mini bar door was broken and the landscape mural on one wall ripped. The remote for the tv was no where to be found but eventually located under the sofa bed along with a used mask. The towels were dirty with make up on two of them. The toilet brush was disgustingly dirty with paper and the brown stuff on them. Cleanliness was none existent. The reception area was ok and the staff, although disinterested in the condition of the room were helpful and polite. The stairs were badly lit, painted black and a death trap. The corridors equally as dark. All in all, an awful and disappointing stay and not cheap. It is at a push of a two star quality hotel. Thé tarifs on the board are incredibly expensive.

If the girl in the next room knew I heard her during her having a night of passion, she’d be so embarrassed. I really wanted to give this place 4 stars as the staff were all incredible. I grew to love the place but it was just those smaller details that irked me. Overall, a decent stay. The room not being cleaned one day irked me. Management - change the bottles for morning drinks. They all have chips out of the top and will harm somebody. My room looked nothing like the pics advertised. A bit dark and it did look dated. Bathrooms had been revamped it seems. €12 for breakfast was about right. Breakfast was ordinary but ask for the hot chocolate.

Hi, This review is not specific to Hotel Parc but in general about hotels in Paris. I have experienced this with two hotels in Paris. Incident One with Parc Hotel Paris. I went to the Hotel Parc. I have made a booking for a room through booking.com. For payment, I presented a credit card to the hotel receptionist. The hotel receptionist told me that the payment is declined. I presented him with another card, even for this card, the receptionist told me that the payment is declined. The next day I saw the hotel had charged me twice on the same credit card which was supposedly declining the payment. One charge was made at the same time when this receptionist told me the payment is declined. I had asked them to refund my money. They declined to refund saying it is the cancellation fee. Now, this is about another hotel. I checked in the evening, made a payment through a credit card. The payment was successful. The next morning this hotel charged me again on the same credit card for the same amount. I checked it with the hotel. The hotel receptionist said that he did it because he thought I have not made the payment. This guy did not bother to check before charging. Its more than a week I have not received my refund. The hotel is very defensive saying that they have refunded and I should check with your bank and it is now my problem. I felt the hotels in Paris are in general unprofessional and crooks. I have visited more than 15 countries but I have never come across such behaviour from the hotels. I will never visit Paris again, nor I will suggest anyone visit this city. Even someone wants to visit it, I will suggest them to be careful with the hotels.

This is the first time I write a negative review about a hotel I’ve stayed at, most importantly due to the poor service. We were charged the same rate for two rooms that were of a very different standard. My sister and I were given a room that was so small and claustrophobic that our luggage didn’t fit. While some might argue that all Paris hotels are small, the inadequate design of this room made it very uncomfortable. My mom’s room was slightly better, but it had a bathtub instead of a standing shower which makes me question how considerate the hotel is in terms of accessibility. Thankfully, a kind lady at reception moved my sister and I to a bigger room on the fourth floor. This was very much appreciated by us, however, the floor and our room smelled of smoke everyday. Our showers were freezing in the midst of winter which left us feeling unwell. When we reported it to reception, we were told that this was due to a large number of residents showering at the same time which should not happen when customers are paying for a comfortable stay. However, I would have been understanding if this was an isolated incident, but we unfortunately had freezing showers throughout our entire stay! Many of the staff’s responses to complaints reiterate that hotels in Paris are small, however, this is not a complaint about amenities as much as it is about service and treatment of customers. Some staff members were particularly dismissive and condescending. Had these issues been addressed appropriately, I would not be leaving this review, but I do not appreciate how we were treated and would not recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Paris.

My flight got delayed, so I arrived late to the hostel around 2 AM on the night of March the 10th ”My reservation was from the 9th, so no problem” I seemed to wake up the receptionist who suddenly got busy on phone but had done the check in procedures, I reconfirmed it's a bottom bunk bed ”due to a medical condition, I can't climb” he said Yes Yes.. My room is on the 5th floor, I was fine and asked if there's a lift, he said Yes Yes ”basically was busy on phone and didn't even listen to what I was saying” I went up ”no lift btw but it was okay” to find the bed assigned is on top, and there was only one person in the room! I went down again asking if I can take the vacant bottom bed, then he got mad!! No you can't, wait for my colleague in the morning to see if he can move you. I asked if I can stay at the reception till then, but no it's closed... So I will just stay here in front of the Reception desk I replied. I affirmed I had my request delivered for a bottom bed, there was only one person in the room, so why can't I just get any?! He got very mad; started to call me crazy, and then shifted to the ”I don't speak English” and saying Me NO ME NO ME NO... He then approached very very close waiving threatening with his finger ”saying we are not discriminating you”!!! What? Who said discrimination?!! Then, I started to film his attitude with my cell phone right away as it was that close it gets physical.. He panicked when I started to film and called the police on me and asked me to go spend the night in the kitchen!!! Unluckily for him, I can understand French pretty well but I only speak English... He asked the police to come because I was making a fuss and a scandal. The police arrived like 30 mins later, while me shaking and waiting in front of the desk as he vanished when I started to film. Very Unluckily for him, the police was very supportive to me and they spoke English... When I told them the whole story; they asked him to return my money as long as they didn't adhere to my request for bottom bed, it's a medical condition but he was so rude to them as well saying, It's not his problem! He refused to refund saying tomorrow in the afternoon I come back to his colleagues be refunded. The police stayed with me till I booked another hotel for the night and THEY SAID IT'S NOT THE FIRST TIME THEY RECEIVE COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE SAME PERSON but they can't file a case against him since it didn't get physical. While booking an alternative accommodation at 3 AM outside in the street, he called me in to give my money back!! This is a story I wanted to share, a story of lying, aggressive, and rude receptionist. Ah, and to the police; he stated that there's someone taking the bottom bed... While the key of the bottom bed was actually left on the check out tray!!! If you want ur days ruined and both yours physical and psychological health abused and tortured go to this place and deal with this man in particular. I dare their management

I stayed here with my sister during our holiday in Paris and I can say I was very happy with the choice made! Two-step structure from Moulin Rouge and its metro, 10 minutes walk from MontMartre , a spacious area, open mainly at night, a starbucks in front of the metro stop, then brewery, poke, hamburger, locals for all tastes + a large supermarket (also exactly at the out of the metro). Reception h24 - a little date structure, small stairs and a little uncomfortable but essential room, small, a small closet and a mirror, but for the location and price, for two girls is super recommended! I never had the feeling of being in a bad area, at the evening of a full-fledged, but quiet, and not new, but also here, for the price it is fully presentable and useable. The only sin (which was not a problem for us) is that at night it is not a quiet area, just not having light sleep problems and nothing to revert. The phone and telecommand of the TV are to be requested at the reception. As far as we are concerned, super recommended!

Absolutely terrible place. This is not a hotel it is apartments. The night before I was due to book into the room they contacted me at 10.30pm telling me that there had been a mix up with my room and I now was not staying in the Concorde executive suite I was now staying in the Eiffel room. Which a room downsized from what I had booked 3 weeks before. I replied to them I wanted a full refund because that was not what I booked 3 weeks ago. They replied that it was not there thought it was a new person had double booked the room. I contacted book.com and explained what the hotel had done and they contacted the manager. 2 hours later they finally contacted me and said I could have the room that I had booked. This was not a good start… when I arrived in Paris the following day it was really hard to find the hotel which is apartments and the code I had been given was the wrong code so I had to stand outside for 2 hours due to they don’t answer the phone. When I finally get access the place looked nothing like the pictures. It was dark dirty and horrible. I was told I could not book in yet but could leave my cases and come back at 3pm. I was given a phone by the cleaner who was dealing with me and it was the manager he asked who I was and laughed on the phone and said the room I had booked someone else had checked in it already. I really did not find this funnny as he did. When I came back at 3pm the owner was sitting in the reception and he was extremely flash and rude. He showed us to the suite which by the way was not a suite it was a small dark room and nothing like the pictures. There was marks on the walls and the door was damaged. When I said I don’t want to stay here and can I have my money back . He said go and stay in the four seasons and there was no way I was getting my money back ever…. And then see me out in the street . Do £1100 down and having to find another hotel. Disgusting….. DO NOT stay at this place …. Also homeless people begging outside

Very small room and bathroom. Stayed for 2 nights in quadruple room and one night in triple room. Staff attitude is not bad. But very close to the halal shop and the bus stop that jumped up and down. The bed is small. There is no air conditioning so you have to open the window but also tolerate the noise outside. They provide a dirty portable fan, but like no fan. The elevator is also very small - can take two people and carry to the 5th floor. The quadruple room we live in is on the 6th floor so we have to climb the narrow stairs with luggage. I will not stay at this hotel next time. Not recommended.

An amazing place to stay for visitors to Paris. Very conveniently located - right in the centre of the city, 2 minutes' walk to a metro station on one of the main lines. The neighbourhood (Le Marais) is one of the safest and prettiest in Paris, and the street next to the hotel is full of cafes, bakeries and restaurants. The Seine is less than 10 minutes' walk away. The reception staff are friendly, welcoming and happy to help with any issues or questions you might have. My room was clean, spacious and well decorated, with a mini fridge. They provide bottled water, tea/coffee, biscuits and slippers. The room also had a balcony looking out onto the street. It was very reasonably priced and is similar in price to private rooms at hostels (but with a far superior experience). After checking out, you can store your luggage at the reception for the entire day if necessary, free of charge. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone visiting Paris!

Great spot for solo travelling. Basic room, very clean and has everything you need. Breakfast in the hotel each morning and the staff are absolutely lovely! Very friendly and busy neighbourhood with loads to do around. It took me about 35 mins to walk to the touristy spots but if you don’t feel like walking there’s a bus stop right outside the hotel. If you’re staying as a couple it may be a tight squeeze but if you’re staying for a night or 2 I found this hotel perfect!

Old style hotel which i liked, room was clean and comfortable bed and good shower but that is where the good ended. Location is not the best, not many restaurants around, quite a walk to the Louvre. Be aware there is a tiny lift but there are more stairs on each floor to negotiate with suitcases. I am loyal to Accor and feel as a gold member I received zero benefits. Room was not ready at 3pm (2pm check in) and had to wait with no chairs to sit on, no welcome drink offered, probably the worst room in the hotel, booking said city view instead we had a lovely view of an internal wall and windows on the 3rd floor, incredibly difficult to get a 1 hour late check out, constantly fobbed off to next shift, when finally granted the cleaners kept coming in so we gave up and left. Staff were unwelcoming and generally unhelpful. Felt as if I might have just walked in off the street instead of spending a lot of money this year in Accor hotels, in fact most of the Ibis hotels we used had better rooms and staff. Definitely better hotels in Paris

Excellent strategic location with a metro station and a shopping center at your doorstep. I was lucky to get a studio at the top floor with a nice view of the main attractions over the roofs. The studio was somewhat smaller than expected, just enough for one person though. Strangely, you have got a small equipped kitchen to cook, but no proper table to sit and eat. Also, the noise isolation from the street is somewhat poor: do not expect to sleep long while the magnificent city gets busy every morning.

The worst hotel we have ever stayed in from the Ibis chain. Usually we have liked the ibis chain but this one in particular was the WORST one. From the first day we checked in there was already problems. The room was very cold and the air conditioner would not work or heat up the room no matter how much you turned the thermostat on the wall, the shower ALWAYS flooded within a couple of minutes of showering. We got a room with a graveyard view so you can wake up each day, draw the curtains and look at the AMAZING view of the graveyard, just fantastic in my opinion especially since this was considered an early b-day trip. From the second day, HELL began : We got ready for a day out on the day if only we could get out of the hotel, we waited for the elevator for about 5 min and it would not come to our floor, we waited for another couple minutes and when it FINALLY reached our floor it was packed full of people so we decided to wait another one, at this point we had wasted 20 min on waiting for the elevator just to get down to the lobby. Then we saw that the elevator stopped working COMPLETELY. I went back to the room and asked the reception on the phone if they had some stairs we could use and they informed me that theres a door with a stairs sign indicated on it, we tried that option but we were met with a dead end with a door you could not open, somehow we got to mercures floor and through some maintenance door that was left open to mercures breakfast area and FINALLY got out of the hotel. In the evening when we returned then we were met YET AGAIN with elevators that had not been fixed, out of all 3 elevators they had NONE of them worked, and we were told by the receptionist that the elevator would not be fixed until Monday since we were on the 7th floor then the receptionist said that we had to go next door to Mercure hotel and another Ibis receptionist would help us, the way they described how to get to our floor was VERY confusing that we had to ask for help from the Mercure receptionist. When we got to the stairs hallway that was supposed to take us to our floor then there was only 6th, 8th and 9th floor but 7th floor nowhere in sight. So i had to go down to the reception again and ask for help which to me they said sorry go ask ibis, then i proceeded to go to ibis, wait for another 10-20 min to talk to the receptionists. Had to explain the same situation to them all over again and then one of the receptionists came with me to see for herself and then we went to the same place as before, went in from the 8th floor to the end of the corridor and through some random doors, down the stairs and finally got to the 7th floor. How is a person that does not know the hotel supposed to know from which doors to know, then had to wait for the receptionist to go and bring my mom as well for 20 mins. Finally after an HOUR and A HALF we got to our room. Next morning the elevator was still not fixed and somehow we found another door where we got down with th

This Hotel is in a lovely area of Paris. With good shops and restaurants just across the square in Bercy Village. The metro stop of Saint Cour Emillion, on line 14 is less than 2 minutes walk away, and all around is well lit and pleasant either night or day. We got an official taxi from Charles de Gaulle airport direct to the hotel, for the set rate of 55 euros. So arrived at the hotel at lunch time after our morning flight. Staff were helpful and had already arranged our family 2 rooms together which was great. I’d gone for a room with balcony and could see the Eiffel Tower out there, which was lovely especially at night when it was all lit. We paid in advance for the additional breakfast when booking the rooms. Which was fresh, good quality and an arrangement of hot cooked food, eggs, sausage, pancakes, cereals, fruit, toast, croissants, breads, fruit or continental breakfast. Plenty of drink choices of assorted teas, coffees and juices. There was something for everyone. The Hotel booked our return taxi at the end of our stay, and was helpful printing out boarding passes and attraction tickets when we asked for no extra charge. There was good WiFi reception throughout the hotel. It was my 2nd time stopping at this hotel the first time being 10 years ago and it was just as nice as before. We would all recommend it.

The location is good, there is a Paris subway station nearby, which is convenient for travel. The room is very small and can't even fit a 26-inch suitcase. The corridor of the room is dark.

Convenient transportation, not far from the subway, the hotel environment is good, not the kind of old street, although there are more black people, but it seems to be the person who lives at home. The hotel rooms are small but meet the needs. The exit of the subway station is the Chinese restaurant ”Xinwang Building”, which is worth recommending

I spent 2 nights here for a business trip and had a very nice stay. The room was a bit small but the bed is comfortable and large. I am close to 2 meters tall and fit nicely, which is unfortunately something I don’t see in many other hotels. I appreciated the small details of the room. For example, the curtain is super long and close enough to the window in order to prevent any sunlight from coming in. The temperature is nicely regulated and I never found the room to be too hot or too cold. The staff as well were very welcoming and helpful. I dropped my credit card from my wallet by accident when taking out my room key and the staff were kind enough to inform me that they found it and leave it in my room. I would definitely recommend this hotel for its location, comfort, and staff.

It’s a new Boutique Hotel with very stylish deco, Clean !! The staffs are very polite and helpful !!! I can say you feel safe when you staying in this hotel. Central location, within 1 mins walk to Metro -Notre-Dame-de-Lorette - which offers direct transport to Saint-Lazare Train Station. It takes you 20 mins to Gare du Nord from hotel !! If you love shopping, the famous Shopping mall Lafayette and Printemp, it takes you 15 mins by walk from the Hotel Bloum. Very convenient and central in Paris ‘ I was staying for 6 days, the breakfast is very simple, without eggs and omelette, coffee is very simple too . Need to improve for the whole breakfast honestly !!! I will stay again if I come back to Paris again !!!!

Would highly recommend this Hostel. Location is right next to a metro but also a good walking to distance from many other metros and place de la nation which is great for restaurants. Didn’t eat at the hostel so can’t comment on that but the buffet breakfast did look good & all guests get 10% off food and their own beer during the stay. I found all the facilities to be clean, the bathrooms are out with the bedrooms which I find to be good as you don’t have to be dead silent. Could be doing with a door to the urinal and some hooks on the toilet doors and not just the shower door. Rooms are decent sized the only downside was the positioning of the main room lights & switch. if left on overnight was annoying and very bright. Each bed has a light though which is good when the main light is off. Hairdryer also available which can be taken to the bathroom. Friendly staff and large reception/bar area where there is something on most nights with lots of people in attendance. I was a solo traveller this occasion and would recommend to others.

The rating is between average and poor. It's mediocre. The rooms are small (nothing unexpected) the bathroom smaller.. I had to repair the flush toilet as it did not work. Bring ironed shirts because there's no iron board and the suggested ”use the table in the room” does not work. The WiFi offering is really terrible. The network connection drops all the time if ever one manages to connect. In the basement restaurant there's no coverage at all. The breakfast offering is fine. The staff is friendly and helpful. That saved the day for this hotel.
