Basic dorm with fan. Didn't feel a need for A/C. This place seems to cater long stay, so it lacks hostel vibe. Be prepared for absence of wifi. Toilets and bathrooms are shared and could be cleaner. There is a functioning kitchen, but I didn't have a chance to use it. Location is within walking distance from the waterfront. I booked it for the price, so no complaints overall.

Not available for my parents. Cannot do anything to cancel booking. So I need to extend another one night

Comfortable and very clean

location is good, not too far , you can reach Kuching Waterfront and Vivacity Megamall within 10 minutes. Hotel room size just nice , not too small and toilet is clean and well taken care

Sitting at 2.5 ml, Rock Road, opposite KFC, PIZZA HUT, China Bank, China Consulate and other eateries selling both local and heritage foods.Maybank and clinic, blind center, retarded center, Ong Tiang Swee primary school, are within walking distance.From here to Timberland medical Specialist Centre is just one 1-2-minute drive away.To the must visit kuching city center, golden arch bridge, The second tallest Flag pole in South East Asia, the sunset river cruise, river front Esplanade, Harmony Arch, museums, Brooke Memorial is just 2.5 ml (+- 6 km) away.On rent items of hospital equipments like wheelchair, commode aids, heat patches, walking frame , mattress for the disable patients etc can be arranged.

Hornbill's Nest is a hidden gem of Kuching City Centre. It is highly recommended for those who wanna keep a low budget, yet to have a very comfortable stay, close to Kuching's places of interest (e.g. Borneo Cultures Museum, The Ranee Museum, Fort Margherita, Plaza Merdeka, The Waterfront, Main Bazaar, The Baruk, etc). The mattress was of high quality ones, where u move and u won't wake up the person sleeping next to you. Very clean toilet, overlooking the Saint Thomas Cathedral, water heater with lots of shampoo and showergel for the travellers. The hair dryer is of high quality salon-grade. May, the receptionist lady is always very helpful and attentive to our needs. Most importantly, they have the water filter (Cuckoo) where u can get a hot, cold, or room temperature water to refill your bottles. My suggestion, take the upper levels, best to avoid the ground floor. People in the past reviews complaint about the floor made of wood where u can hear people walking on the corridor. But, I have to tell you, this occurence reminded me of the original longhouses which were made of wood. Try not to stomp on the floor, walk softly like the natives did. Have fun and experience it authentically. I will definitely come back again, and would highly recommend friends and family to stay here.

We stayed here for 5 nights and had a very pleasant stay. The owner was lovely and very helpful, it’s a bright, clean, well run place. Very close to town. 60R per night for a clean and good sized double room (without windows or bathroom). The shared bathroom was clean and in good working order but a standard Asian set up with toilet paper outside the cubicles, no soap by sinks etc and takes a little getting used to but otherwise no complaints.

I also dined at the hotel restaurant, where both the food and service were outstanding—especially the breakfast buffet, which offered fresh and delicious options. Location-wise, it’s ideally situated for sightseeing, shopping, and dining, with many attractions within easy walking distance. I really appreciated the attention to detail and the level of care the staff put into ensuring my stay was perfect. Overall, Little House made my trip unforgettable.
