Visited the Atlantic for the recent Rory Gallagher Festival at Ballyshannon .The place was perfect for our needs as we were only there to sleep and eat breakfast ,basic accommodation though I don’t understand the negative reviews concerning shared bathrooms as some rooms are advertised as this, excellent freshly cooked breakfast and our hosts were very friendly and helpful.There is a small car park on site first come first serve basis.We have already booked again for festival next year

Short walk to the town centre, plenty of parking, warm and clean room. Nice bathroom, comfy bed. Plenty of positives. Maybe slightly bigger towels for the bathroom and a shelf or two would be great. Didn’t sample the food so can’t comment. Few guys decided to talk outside my room at silly o’clock but it was handled by the night porter and reception staff were very apologetic in the morning. Will definitely return.
