Then the mold on the wall and the stains on the exhaust fan, I think the hotel is not cleaned properly. Then there is the bed quilt. P4 is the pillow. There is a hole directly rotten on it🤣 P6 is the quilt. Black stains, and it is on the veil. Also, there is a window that was broken when we just entered the hotel, as shown in the video. In the end, we studied it ourselves. Finally, there are the ladies at the front desk here. When we first entered the hotel, we asked to see the room and asked about breakfast. I don’t know if the front desk was in a bad mood or too busy at the time, or maybe I was too sensitive. I don’t think her eyes are very friendly. Later, I called the front desk. My first feeling from her words was impatience. I understand that everyone has their own emotions, but I don’t accept the experience that makes me feel uncomfortable in the service industry. To sum up, the location of this hotel is really good and the room is relatively large, but I really can’t praise the hygiene and service🙏🙏🙏

The biggest shortcoming is that only the hot air conditioner in the room is open, and the temperature is very high, which affects the quality of sleep. At night, I can only expose my feet outside the quilt when I sleep. I called the front desk and the answer was that there was no cold air cooling, only hot air conditioning, or turn off the hot air conditioner, but in fact it couldn't be turned off. The temperature inside was too hot, which neither saved energy consumption nor reduced the experience.

Although the location of this hot spring hotel is a bit remote (that is to say, it is a bit far from the center of Zhangye old city), the food in the nearby Lan Kwai Fong exclusive private cuisine restaurant is really good. For 88 yuan, you can eat a pound of Zhangye food. The specialty dish is ”hand-caught mutton”. Stay in a hotel, soak in hot springs, eat mutton, it’s so beautiful😊😊😊

The location of the hotel is easy to find. You can see it at a glance when you drive to the intersection. There is a parking space at the door. The security personnel will take the initiative to come over to direct and help with the luggage. The receptionist who checked in was also very nice. When we got to the room, the luggage had been delivered to the door. The restaurant on the third floor tastes very good, and the breakfast is also great with a lot of dishes. When we left our bag in the restaurant, the front desk helped us find it back, which was great! I will stay at this hotel again next time I come to Zhangye!

This place was so nice and super clean/tidy with a very cute aesthetic. There’s a resident cat named Pudding which is a nice novelty, and the hostel is in a great location walking distance to plenty of food, shops and sights. Rooms are spacious with big windows and the owner is so helpful. She speaks English and will send you a list of food recommendations for the surrounding area. They also helped us arrange plenty of sightseeing for a good price! Had a wonderful stay and would gladly go back. Make sure you try the beef “rice” from the list, it’s so good!!

Just completed a wonderful three night stay at the Zhangye Holiday Inn. Perhaps most Silk Road tourists do not spend three nights in Zhangye but we wanted to visit both the popular and more “off the beaten path” historical sites nearby. This Holiday Inn is up to international standards - the staff was very professional, courteous and well trained, the rooms were modern and well-maintained, and even the buffet breakfast restaurant manager spoke English. This is probably one of the few (if not the only) more Westernized hotels in Zhangye) and we had a very good stay and experience in this hotel in Zhangye.
