SUMMARY The Tuesday Morning Discover Oil Painting Course is a 4 week intensive run by Artist David Ledger designed to provide students with a comprehensive exploration of oil painting. Through a combination of guided classes, students will develop and build on fundamental skills of oil painting. DURATION 4 weeks every Tuesday 9:30am – 11:30am commencing Tuesday October 8 and concluding Tuesday November 5. LOCATION Each lesson will be located at beautifully resorted heritage buildings located on Marine Parade in Cottesloe. The art studio is located on the ground floor of the Heritage Collective Building. Free parking is available along Warton Street and Marine Parade. A map is provided on confirmation of ticket. ABOUT THE ARTIST DAVID LEDGER David is an award-winning oil painter based in Perth, Western Australia. Graduating from the Florence Classical Art Academy in Italy, David relocated back to Perth where he set up his practice, specialising in the production of highly traditional oil paintings and drawings as well as his contemporary art. David works on a variety of projects, including private portrait commissions and still life artworks, through to traditional religious works. Keenly passionate about the traditional and historic methods that lie behind the many different forms of fine art. David has exhibited his work across Australia and internationally and has obtained a Bachelor of Fine Art from Curtin University. TUITION & PAYMENT: Tuition fees are inclusive of materials, paints and some drawing materials. This is a non-refundable course as lessons are pre-planned.
