As part of Singapore’s efforts to reopen our borders safely, fully vaccinated Singapore Citizens (SCs) and Permanent Residents (PRs) departing for Singapore from the below mentioned VTL countries may return via the VTL to enjoy quarantine-free measures on return to Singapore.
Currently, VTL countries include: Brunei, Germany, Australia, Denmark, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, the United Kingdom, Canada, United States, Switzerland, South Korea.
Singapore will launch the Vaccinated Travel Lanes (VTLs) for Finland, Indonesia, Malaysia and Sweden from 29 November 2021 and will open for Vaccinated Travel Pass (VTP) applications from 22 November 2021. We will launch the VTLs for Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates from 6 December 2021, and will open for VTP applications from 29 November 2021. We also intend to launch a VTL for India for entry into Singapore from 29 November 2021 and will open VTP applications from 22 November 2021.

Q: What if I meet all requirements but take a non-VTL flight to Singapore?
A: You would still need to be quarantined.
Q: Can I get a refund if my pre-departure Covid-19 PCR test shows positive?
A: If you are tested Covid-19 positive, you will not be allowed to board any VTL flights to Singapore. You may request for a refund for the unused portion of your ticket, with cancellation fees waived.
Q: Do I need to take a PCR test upon arrival to Singapore?
A: Yes, you would need to take PCR test on Day 3 & 7 of your arrival to Singapore. After 19 Oct 2021, this procedure would not be required.
Q: Why does the VTP application site require me to pay for Day 3 & 7 PCR tests even though my intended entry date is after 19 Oct 2021?
A: Should you submit your VTP application before 12 Oct 2021, 0000hrs (Singapore time), you will be charged for the PCR tests regardless of your intended date of entry. However, the payment for the Day 3 and Day 7 tests will be refunded if your entry date is after 18 Oct 2021, 2359hrs (Singapore time).
A: No. The only way to enjoy quarantine-free entry is by VTL flights.
