Rome, Italy + Vatican line is a lifelong must-check! Walking on the century-old stone bridge, both sides of the river are full of European-style buildings. Encountering the gloomy sky adds a touch of historical vicissitudes. Whether you are curious about ancient civilization or a hipster who loves to photograph European architecture, Rome and the Vatican are really unbeatable. This time we mainly walked through the Roman iconic Trevi Fountain, witnessed the thousand-year-old Roman Colosseum, and walked across the border to the Vatican - Vatican Obelisk + St. Peter's Square, sitting on the visual and spiritual double impact of humanities, history, art and faith!

List of must-see itinerary highlights:
1. The Roman Colosseum
Walking into this two-thousand-year-old circular arena, you will feel the aura of the strugglers of those years, surrounded by stone walls covered with wind and frost, looking up with the echo of thousands of people cheering. On a cloudy and rainy day, the photos taken have a more cinematic feel! Tip: It is recommended to book tickets online in advance (ticket: €162) and it is best to get in early to avoid the crowds.
📍Address: Piazza del Colosseo, 1, 00184 Roma RM, Italy
🕗 Opening Hours: 08:30 - 16:30 (Closing entry at 15:30)

2. Trevi Fountain
Coming to Rome without throwing coins is equivalent to not visiting here! The fountain is open all day year round, in the early morning or late at night with fewer people, you can quietly sprinkle a coin, legend has it that it will come to Rome again! This place is very photogenic whether it is cloudy or sunny, the blue and white water with the carvings is super artistic ~
📍Address: Piazza di Trevi, 00187 Roma RM, Italy
🕗Open all day year round

3. Vatican Obelisk & St. Peter’s Square
Spanning to one of the world's smallest countries, the Vatican, is a pilgrimage of faith and art. The obelisk stands in the middle of the square, complementing St. Peter's Basilica. Whether cloudy or sunny, the atmosphere is solemn and there is tension in taking pictures. The obelisk is less crowded in the early morning and evening, and the pigeons on the square and the church dome will become your best backdrop!
📍Vatican Obelisk Address: Piazza San Pietro, 00120 Città del Vaticano, Vatican City
🕗Opening Hours: 07:00 - 18:00 (Closed on Sundays)
📍Piazza San Pietro Address: Piazza San Pietro, 00120 Città del Vaticano, Vatican City
🕗Opening hours: 08:30 - 18:30 (Mon-Sat); 09:30 - 16:30 (Sun)

Travel Tips & Personal Reviews:
1. Rome walking routes are many, remember to wear a pair of good walking and non-slip sneakers, in the middle may encounter stones Luke light rain, super test endurance ~
2. The architectural lines and sculptures of Rome are perfect for long tilt angle shooting, remember to bring a foot battery & storage card for your phone/camera!
3. When entering the Vatican to see the church, pay attention to clothing, avoid shorts, off-the-shoulder clothes, otherwise security will refuse to let you go.
4. Even if the weather is a bit gloomy, remember to bring a light jacket, while the temperature inside the church will be lower than outdoors.

Bonus food recommendations:
- Gelateria Valentino on the edge of the Trevi Fountain, take a break from your busy schedule with a real pistachio ice cream
- In the evening you can walk near Piazza Navona, super local bistro, spaghetti alle vongole (clam pasta) and Risotto are really good!

Transportation Guide:
The main attractions in the center of Rome, taking Metro Line A (Colosseo, Ottaviano/San Pietro stations) & walking is actually the most time-saving and labor-saving. Two or more people can also consider calling a taxi, remember to identify the official TAXI logo.

Walking through these panoramic views of Rome and the Holy Land of the Vatican, you will sincerely feel the weight of the flow of history, not just sightseeing, more like a small adventure through time and space!
