Ready for a hidden Western Australia coast escape? 🤩 Guilderton is underrated, but the Moore River Estuary is next-level for chill river vibes, wild beauty, and endless Aussie skies. Must-See Spot: · Moore River Estuary (Moore River Dr, Caraban WA 6041) This is the main event! Open 24/7, all year round—so come sunrise or sunset. Paddle a kayak, swim in calm, clear waters, or spot pelicans and little fish right from the riverbank. The sandbar (where river meets ocean) is surreal for photos and super unique—low tide makes a natural playground for all ages. Tip: Guilderton fills with locals on weekends, but midweek you’ll have the river nearly to yourself. Bring a picnic, beach shade, and loads of sunscreen—the sun is intense and facilities are few. There’s usually an ice cream truck at the car park; cash makes life easier. Getting Around: Guilderton is a tiny town—park at Moore River carpark and walk everywhere. If you’re driving from Perth, it’s about 1.5 hours north (easy highway). Food: No big supermarkets! Pack your own snacks or stop by the Guilderton General Store for classic Aussie meat pies and cold drinks.
