Zicaotan

The original name of Zicaotan Paper Caotan is named after the rinsing of soil paper by the mountain people in the Qing Dynasty. Tangu is a purple red sandstone, because the flowing water has been washed into a trough, the pool water is crystal clear, plus the inqi peak, green trees, purple stone reflected into the bottom of the pool, mottled land, water is scaled.

Zicaotan, where the stream pools, the stream flows to the water around four doors, this is the most beautiful area of the stream of Tiger Whip Creek, called Zicaotan. Zicaotan Valley is a purple sandstone, because the flowing water has been washed into a trough many times, and is called Zicaotan. 此处位于湖南张家界地质公园里，这个地方是紫红色砂岩，因流水经多次冲刷成槽状，而名为紫草潭。潭长约8米，宽约2米，深2米。潭水清澈见底，加之因奇峰、绿树、紫石映入潭底，斑驳陆离，水光鳞鳞，绿影摇曳，极为自然和谐。潭上小桥为一块完整的天然巨石，三米多长，二米宽。 非常漂亮！

紫草潭谷为紫红色砂岩，因流水经多次冲刷成槽状，而名为紫草潭。潭长约8米，宽约2米，深2米。潭水清澈见底，加之因奇峰、绿树、紫石映入潭底，斑驳陆离，水光鳞鳞，绿影摇曳。我们看的时候，水不是很多。 在这里休息和拍照的人非常多。夏天一定有不少人脱了鞋子去戏水了。
