Leaning Tower of Burano
This is the leaning tower of Burano or its real name of Il Campanile Storto a Bell Tower. It has a very noticeable lean and more so than the one in Pisa. The height of the bell tower is 53 meters. ...
It really leans!
We thought we were imagining things! We didn't realize Burano had a leaning tower, and thought our eyes were playing tricks on us. Not as obvious as Pisa, but still interesting to see!
Burano`s leaning tower
Burano`s own "tower of Pisa". Built in the 17th century, the leaning tower has a square shape and Renaissance and neoclassical architectural features. It can easily be spotted facing Piazza Baldassare...
Poor man's Pisa
This little diversion of a leaning tower was quite fun, especially since I havn't been to Pisa. It provided some great photography opportunities and gave depth to the charming city of Burano.
Nice Crooked Bell Tower
This crooked bell tower can also be seen from afar when you see the town from the vaporetto and also up close.
