About 15 minutes walk from Tsuchiura station. A temple of the Shingon sect Toyoyama school built in 1406. A prayer temple of the feudal lord of Tsuchiura. The main hall is wooden copper tile roofing. It's an ordinary temple and there's nothing to see. It is said that there are seven city-designated cultural properties such as a wooden statue of Dainichi Nyorai and a copper statue of the eleven-faced Kannon Bodhisattva.

I worshiped when I took a walk around the temples and shrines near Tsuchiura Castle in November. Ryusenji is a Shingon sect temple located a 10-minute walk from JR Tsuchiura Station. The principal image is the eleven-faced Kannon Bodhisattva, a temple built in 1406. According to the explanation of the precincts, it was moved to the current location by the Tsuchiura feudal lord in 1605 or 1619.
