When I arrived at Tokitsu Port from Nagasaki Airport and got off the ship, a monument was set up in front of me. In the foreground, an explanation board by the Tokitsu Town Board of Education was set up as a side monument, and the origin of landing on Tokitsu was recorded.

I used to go to the place where the 26 saints boarded on the opposite bank of Omura Bay, and I also went to the place of martyrdom in Nagasaki, so it seems that I had to follow my footsteps. It was a place that envisioned the world of Shusaku Endo's novel.
