Shangzhen Temple

Shangzhenguan, located in Lushan, Suzhou, in the Tibetan town 20 kilometers west of Suzhou City. Lushan, Suzhou, is the most important of Wuzhong Mountains, with an altitude of 341.7 meters. According to legend, the ancient green pine seed is the place where the rose of the immortals is raised because of its high and deep mountain. Open its history, there have been glory and decay, there have been magical Taoist characters, there are many beautiful legends and famous Taoist views. This famous mountain is known as "the blessed land". Located on the top of Sanmao Peak, facing the ancient city of Suzhou, backed by the big chest of Xiaowang Mountain, the south and the Taohualing, Baimaling, Roan Keshan, Dayuanling, Xiaoyuanling and other victories are adjacent to the same vein, the peaks are rolling and rolling, like the shape of a dragon, and the momentum is magnificent.

The Shangzhenguan is a long-standing Taoist view that was circulated in Suzhou during the Han Dynasty. Emperor Qianlong came here six times in the south of the Yangtze River. Now it is also a relatively large-scale Taoist place in the south of the Yangtze River.

The Shangzhenguan is a Taoist view with historical and cultural heritage on the top of Suzhou's mountaintop. It was once an important Taoist cultural center in Jiangnan area and once became the center of Taoist culture in Suzhou.

The first big attraction on Lushan Mountain is Shangzhenguan. This is a large and long-standing Taoist view, but many have been renovated and have no sense of history. There is also a place where Qianlong lived when he came, but there should be nothing in it if he is not open to guess, because it is all rebuilt. There is also a lake pavilion on the side of the Taoist Temple. When the weather is good, you can overlook the scenery of Taihu Lake and so be named. Shangzhenguan is located on Suzhou Lushan Mountain, is the largest Taoist architecture complex in Suzhou area, and it can be seen from the entire Taihu Lake. Although the whole building was rebuilt in the 1990s, it still retains the characteristics of ancient buildings and the exquisite structure is still worth a look.

Shangzhenguan is not only in Suzhou, but also in the whole Jiangnan area is also very important a Taoist view. It is recorded that Shangzhenguan was built in the early Ping years of the Eastern Han Dynasty, about 1800 years ago. In the early years of the Yuan Dynasty, the Taoist view was destroyed in the fire. During the Shunzhi period in the early Qing Dynasty, a legendary Taoist Shi Liangsheng raised funds to rebuild the real view. During its peak period, there were 5048 buildings, 36 temples and 170 scenic spots. At that time, Qianlong Emperor Liuxia Jiangnan, every time he came from the imperial road to see the real view and pray for blessings. It can be seen the importance of the status of the previous real view. Unfortunately, after thousands of years of storms and vicissitudes, the Taoist view has been destroyed and built. The buildings we see now are all rebuilt on the original site in the 1990s. With the support of relevant departments and Taoist believers, a number of buildings and attractions such as Toushanmen, Sanmao Temple, Dragon King Palace, Jade Emperor Palace, Wanghu Pavilion have been restored and rebuilt.

Zhengshanmen is the gate of Shangzhenguan Town Mountain. It is dedicated to the king's Lingguan. It is bare-faced and has three eyes. It is the position of holding a gold whip in the sky and the world. Despite the evil demons, it is said by the people that "three eyes can see the world, and a whip wakes up the people in the world." On both sides are "Admiralty Yuxuan Tower", meaning "Admiralty Yuxuan, harmonious and safe"
