Small monastery -worth a quick visit
It was worth going to the monastery for a short visit but 10 minutes is enough time. We visited one afternoon but everything was closed up.
Is allright
Nice building, shortest visit ever. We were on our way again after 5 min. Sorry, but not that extraordinary. Just a monestary, that's it. Nice building though.
Stunning
This is a beautiful monastery the lady that looks after it let us look around and take photos, we were staying in the Aletri cottage at the side of this monastery so we saw it lit up at night, lovely ...
Close to town Skopelos
This is the best restored monastery we found on the island. It is only few kilometres from down town, and reachable without transportation, if you love to walk.

Walk up T1 to reach these fantastic places. Good picnic spots and unspoilt buildings. A must for the fit and energetic by foot
