Huaxia Culture Park

Who says freebies are no good? Recently, my friends showed me these free attractions in the Magic City that are off the beaten path, with few people, beautiful scenery, and lots of fun. They are truly the epitome of a niche vacation spot for the summer holidays! 👉 Huaxia Park This place is like a mini zoo with dozens of adorable and free-roaming deer. There's also a wildlife inn housing rescued peacocks, black swans, sika deer, parrots, monkeys, mallard ducks, and more. It reminds me of the animal orphanage I saw in Kenya, filled with the same spirit of love. On my recent visit, I saw newly born fawns in the park, which were so cute it should be illegal! However, a reminder that the deer garden is only open on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. 👉 Fuxing Island Park A secret island in the Magic City with a Japanese-style park that's nearly 100 years old. Apart from occasionally encountering young ladies taking photos or petting cats, there are very few visitors. What you'll see is a sea of summer greenery and hidden white cottages with beautiful courtyards. 👉 Shanghai Telecommunications Museum Located on the Bund in Shanghai, you can also GET into a free museum! And it's even in one of Shanghai's outstanding historical buildings, with free guided tours! You can find all sorts of antiques like telegraphs, public telephones, early cell phones, pagers, and dial-up internet modems in the museum. There are few visitors who come to check in, but if you want to visit individually, you can only book on Saturdays or Sundays. Group reservations are required at other times.

Huaxia Park is located at No. 185 Huaxia East Road, right next to the Shanghai Outer Ring Expressway, and is more than twenty kilometers away from downtown Shanghai. As early as the end of the last century, Huaxia Park was originally part of the 'Green Belt around the City' in Pudong New District. At the beginning of this century, after the government invested in renovations for spring and autumn scenery, it gradually transformed into an urban park with suburban characteristics. In 2012, it was included in the Shanghai City Park Directory. Although Huaxia Park is remote and considered a niche and unpopular park, it has its advantages: it is less crowded and more beautiful, and the park also has the Pudong Deer Park, which other city parks cannot compare with. Now, the parks in the city are crowded with visitors, and during holidays, they are even more overcrowded, greatly diminishing the pleasure of the visit. Huaxia Park, however, is as usual throughout the four seasons and is a great place worth visiting. Entering the park, the tall camphor trees are lush and dense, blocking out the sun, as if you have come to a wild and primitive forest. The author firmly believes that during the hot summer, this place must be a great spot to cool off and escape the heat. Inside the park, the arrangement of Cherry Blossom Island, Lotus Fragrance Hall, Heart Lake, Autumn Water Garden, Deer Park, and Rainwater Garden is just right, fully showcasing the beauty of the 'flowers of spring, lotuses of summer, leaves of autumn, and birds of winter'. The park also has basketball and tennis courts, providing visitors with free fitness and entertainment facilities. The wildlife rescue station takes in and helps injured and illegally trafficked wild animals.

This is not Altay, who would have thought that such a fairy-tale place could be hidden within Shanghai's urban area😲! Look at those sika deer happily hopping around on the lawn🐾, and there are so many super cute little babies👶 toddling behind their mothers, it's just too adorable🥰, so healing💕!! 📍Location (Pudong) Huaxia Park 🔷Address: No. 285 Huaxia East Road. Convenient route: After entering the park, don't go over the wooden arch bridge, there's a small path on the right, after you see the tennis court🎾, keep walking forward, then turn right, and you'll see signs pointing to 'Deer Garden'. As long as you don't take the wrong path, you'll definitely get there within five minutes😎! So what's fun here🤔? 🦚Peacocks and sika deer There aren't many of them, but they're much more leisurely and free than those in the zoo🤪, the kids love them, they can't move once they see them 🛝Children's playground It's closely connected to the Deer Garden, with facilities like slides🎢, spinning houses, climbing hills, and speaking tubes. The playground is not big, and the number of children is limited, with benches thoughtfully placed around for parents to rest and watch their kids😉~ 🍑Orchard: It's right next to the children's playground, with peach trees, citrus trees, pomegranate trees, etc., and the trees are full of fruits, but they're all green and not ripe yet🤣. It's a wonderful thing to let the kids recognize these fruits😜~ 🏀Sports field Right at the entrance, there are four fenced free tennis courts🎾 and basketball courts🏀, brand new and clean, and you can come and go as you please, not many people, and it's very comfortable to exercise here with family😎. ⛺️Camping site The camping area is not big, but it doesn't feel crowded because there are few people, and the grass can be used when there's no one, but if you want to set up a canopy, be sure not to let the ropes trip the kids😟~ 🚗Traffic and parking situation: 🅿️The park's own parking lot is quite small, the guard let us park on the opposite road, I saw quite a few cars parked there on the day I went🚗, and I didn't see any tickets being issued, but I also heard that they might ticket. If you're worried, you can park at the 'Zhangjiang Linfeng Biomedical Science and Technology Park' next door, the address is No. 333 Huaxia East Road, there are many parking spaces, and it's 10 yuan each time💰. TIps: ✨If you want to bring animals😎🉑️ you can bring your own 🥕 and vegetable leaves, and you should go early, otherwise, if you go late, the animals might already be full😅. ✨Catching crabs🦀️: Remember to bring a bucket and a small shovel, a net, and you can also catch tadpoles🐸. ✨❌You can't camp⛺️, but you can bring a ground mat for barbecuing. ✨You can hardly see any food for sale inside the park, so it's recommended to bring your own food🥪. ✨If you want to take photos, it's suggested that a light blue and white color scheme matched with greenery will make for better pictures🤳, hehe😁.

🦌 Shanghai's parks have truly reached a new level of excellence‼️ It's not Nara, nor is it Altay! Who would have thought that such a pure land is hidden in the downtown area of Shanghai! Look at those deer frolicking on the lawn, with many fawns toddling after their mothers learning to walk, it's just too cute and healing!! Although they are not deer, but the legendary silly roe deer, what does it matter? They are still endearing! Some bold ones will even run to the fence to interact with people! Additionally, the overall area of the park is not very large, there is a large lotus pond at the entrance, and there are peacocks and black swans.
