I went to see the heron.

From Saga City, take National Highway 323 to Furuyu Onsen, follow the instruction board in front of Furuyu to reach Kashihara Marsh. The place is located in Nanayama, Karatsu City. This Kashihara Marsh has a wonderful marsh because it has abundant spring water. The inside of the marsh is well maintained, but I remember that it was hot because there was not much shade because I went there in the summer. It is said to be "Oze in Kyushu", but the scale is not large. I think it is better to go with a set with nearby Kannon Falls. ...

    a little wetland.

It seems that the place where the former 々 rice fields were left naturally and the marsh was created. There is usually a rice field on the adjacent Saga City side. If you are lucky, you can explain it in a place that is very suitable for natural observation. 6 Hachicho dragonflies are cute around the moon. It's a very small 2 cm red dragonfly, but it seems that the territory is about 30 cm and it hardly moves. If you observe it, you will forget the time. Just a good place for a picnic ...

I visited on a day trip bus tour. I went to see Tokiso. However, as always said, the flowers are early this year. It didn't bloom anywhere. Sorry. I could see the dead Junsai, Numatranoo, and Hatchooton.

    A rare flower.

I took a walk in this marsh. I am impressed by the atmosphere where the greenery spreads and the grass sways and is full of nature. I went in autumn, but it seems that autumn flowers were in bloom. The purple-spotted flowers were very beautiful.

"OZE in Kyushu" in Nanayama village, Saga Prefecture

    Original Text

It is a marsh with an altitude of 120,000 square kilometers at an altitude of 600m. It is a special area for the natural environment conservation area. When I visited in August, heron grass was blooming. It seems that this name was given because it resembles a heron flying in the sky with its wings spread. The parking lot is also reasonably large, so I think it's easy to visit.
