If you enjoy a crowded market where you can buy anything you can think of, then you shouldn't miss the Porta Portese Market. The Market runs every Sunday morning and many streets of Trastevere are closed to traffic from the day before in order to make room for this big Market. It can get really crowded, so I would suggest you to visit the Market early in the Sunday morning. Remember to put your wallet in a safe pocket while you are in the middle of the crowd. You can easily reach the Market by walk from the "La Scalea di Trastevere" apartment

A fantastic open-air market held every Sunday morning, you can find just about anything here. It's a great place to do some bargain hunting, and if you're down with vintage clothing, you can put together an outfit here for less than 5 EUR if you're willing to be frugal! It's a colorful place and definitely an interested experience, if nothing else. You can find good food items for reasonable prices as well.
