Carriage ride isn’t worth it- beware of the museum curator
Be aware that the ‘carriage’ ride is tractor drawn, not horse drawn. There is a photo of the tractor on the website, so that is there, but even so, you should realize that there isn’t really any comm...
Time Travel
The carriage ride was the highlight of my visit to the museum. It transports you to that fine day when Anne rode with Matthew that first day to Green Gables.
Skip the 1 hour ride, choose 30 minutes instead
The 1 hour ride was 20 minutes in each direction with free time at the beach...so basically a 30 minute ride but for a lot more money. The man "Matthew" was really nice. The woman who organized eve...
Lovely Time
We did the one-hour carriage ride at 10am, just my husband and I, what a lovely and peaceful experience. The driver was informative/friendly and the weather was perfect, great way to start the day.
Romantic ride
This is a must try for couples. Very romantic slow buggy ride with lots of local facts. We took the full hour tour including a stop at the beach. Well worth the extra.
