Wu Jingzi Memorial Hall

It is located in the northwest corner of Quanjiao County. Founded in the summer of 1959, the original site is by the lotus pond in Quanjiao County. The current museum was rebuilt in October 1984, covering an area of 5,000 square meters and a building area of 1,000 square meters. There are east-west exhibition halls and quaint corridors, which were officially opened to the public on July 1, 1986. In front of the hall of the memorial hall stands a bronze statue of Wu Jingzi, which is 4.5 meters high and weighs 500 kilograms. The museum houses various editions of "School of Foreign Studies" and other works by Wu Jingzi, such as the earlier block-printed "Reclining Thatched Cottage", "Supplement to Qixingtang", "Wenmu Shanfang Ji", "Wenmu Mountain Fang Ji" Wenmu Shanfang Poems", as well as a reduced version of his seven-character ancient poem and handwriting "Fengti Yayu Grand Duke Out of the Forbidden City" (the original is about 2 meters long and 1 meter wide, and is now in the Forbidden City in Beijing) and so on. The East-West Exhibition Hall also displays the research results of Chinese and foreign experts and scholars on "School of Foreign Studies", as well as some cultural relics, stone carvings and works of well-known domestic calligraphers and painters in his former residence.
