We are hiking the River Challenge and would love to learn more about the park. The park extends from the ocean in Del Mar to the San Digito River in Volkan (Mocan Mountain) near Julian. There are flat areas and fairly steep hills. Beautiful scenery, bird watching, hiking in nature near town.
