A promenade from Subari mountain trail to Kofuji
Original Text
When I proceeded from the 5th station of the Subari route, there was a sign at the entrance of the Kofuji promenade. Although it was reported that this year's Mt. Fuji climbing was very crowded, it was a mountain trail with few former 々 users, and I didn't see any climbers heading toward the side volcano "Kofuji" on Mt. Fuji. If it was a local hiker, climbers from afar seemed to head for Mt. Fuji without knowing it.
Take a fixed-route bus that runs only during the summer to the 5th station of Mt. Fuji Subariguchi, less than 30 minutes one way from the bus stop, and after passing through the deep forest road, you will suddenly reach the stone hills of Cologne. This is Kofuji. At the time of the visit, there was fog and there was no scenery, but it was rather fantastic.
It is a small mountain about 20 minutes walk from Mt. Fuji Subariguchi and Gogome trailhead. After passing through the mossy forest promenade, you can overlook Lake Yamanaka and Lake Kawaguchi in the distance.
