Not comfortable so left in the interval
The seating is awfully cramped. If they took out a few rows and spread them evenly so the guests had leg room, it would be better. They also need an isle in the middle so you aren't standing up so often, for people to go wherever they go. This really spoilt the Sweeney Todd experience as a long show. We left in the interval because my knees were cramped. Staff nice enough and I imagine good for children's shows if tall parents can sit on the side isles. A shame they put seats over comfort.

Kind and helpful theatre staff who turned a crisis into a .......drama : )
Not a review of a show but of the theatre staff. We misread our tickets and arrived at the theatre with our daughter for a show that had been on the night before! It was entirely our own, stupid faul...
Absolutely love the playhouse bar for its quirkiness. Great for chilling out in the afternoon with a beer or hot drink inside or in the garden. Go there regularly. I didn’t mark it down but wish they wouldn’t let big dogs in. The bar is narrow and they often scare me by coming over when their owners turn to the bar and ignore what they are doing. Outside it can be just as bad if the owners don’t keep them tied up. Unpopular I know but most of the dogs look bored anyway. Also some of the staff aren’t particularly friendly or upbeat. One guy is great though!
