steaming hot even in the day
it's like a mirror or steam...even in the morning/day time. an interesting sight to behold if you've never seen a jigoku before. do this as part of the circuit while at noboribetsu.
If you have walked to this place then you do not have further to walk to the natural foot baths. In contrast to the other areas this pool is almost black due to the boiling mud in it. You are looking ...
On the way from Oyunuma to Oyunumagawa foot bath, it is about a 10 walk. It seems to be a geyser like the iron spring pond, but now the fence is stopped in front of you and you can't get close to it. Well, when you go to the footbath, it's on the way, so let's take a long look at it as you pass by.
It is currently off-limits "Taisho Hell". It seems that it was made by a small explosion that occurred in the Taisho era. Also, the color of the hot water seems to change to black, gray, green, blue, yellow, etc. depending on time and natural environment. When I visited, it was black like the color of hell.
From the hotel to the morning walk, I walked to the foot bath, the Oyunuma River exploration sidewalk to the foot bath, the Oyunuma, and the back bath. If you climb a little from the natural footbath, you will find an entrance to Taisho Hell, but it was off limits because the eruption of the geyser is becoming more active.
