Public bath in Niijima. I visited after taking a bath in the Yunohama open-air bath, but it was open from 13 o'clock, so I couldn't take a bath due to the time of the connecting ship. It is located on a hill about 10 minutes walk from the Yunohama open-air bath.
Rather than the Izu Islands, it is rare in Kanto, sand steamed hot spring ❣️

I can do sand steaming on Oshima without going to Beppu or ibusuki! Impressive. 700 yen. Not expensive. Moreover, the locals seemed to be vacant to enter the hot springs more normally than sand steaming (beppu and ibusuki are the main tourists, so I remember being very crowded). Of course, after the sand steaming is over, you can drop the sand in the shower and then slowly soak in the hot springs in the private bathtub. Hot spring lovers should go.
