When I visited Otani Castle, one of the 100 famous castles in Japan, I didn't have time to go to the castle in the evening, so I visited this museum. It is located in the place where Otani Castle is located behind. It carefully explains the history of Kotani Castle and its main Mr. Asai, so I recommend it to those who like history. Next time, I would like to visit after walking around Kotani Castle.
It was easy to arrive via high speed with the car navigation setting of the car. It was installed near the entrance of the ruins of Kotani Castle and the parking lot was wide in front of it. There was also guidance from the road. There was a diorama exhibition of Mr. Asai's materials, castles, and castle ruins, and the staff explained in detail.

河毛駅から徒歩30分程度、家臣団の屋敷があった清水谷に立地。資料館は浅井家三代と小谷城の2つの展示から構成されている、閉館した児童館を活用しているので資料館の規模は小さめ。

Free parking If you don't like history, it may be a little boring, but I was fine. I got a map near the castle ruins and it was helpful.
