A temple at the foot of Mt. Ibuki
Original Text
A long approach from Somon, you will reach the main hall while looking at the tower and Honbo on the way. The main hall is an important cultural property, built in 1716 (Shotoku 6), and the local carpenter Taibei Miyabe served as the leader. The sculpture was wonderful. The bell tower is also an important cultural property, built in 1725 (Kyoho 10) in the middle of the Edo period, one girder line, one beam, Irimoya zukuri style, and pier tile roof.
it's a temple where hideyoshi toyotomi and mitsunari ishida met.

Do you know "Ohara Kannonji"? It is one of the four former temples of Mt. Ibuki in Maibara City, Shiga Prefecture. I think passenger cars are the best access. It was officially built in the early Heian period of the Ninju era, but it was moved to its current location during the first year of the Heian period. The eleven-faced Kannon statue is preserved in the temple, but the seated statue of the missionary Daishi in the Kamakura period is designated as a national important cultural property. Also, when Hideyoshi Toyotomi stopped by hawk hunting, Mitsunari Ishida, who was a temple boy, ...
It was strange that there were no tourists at all even though it was a place for Mitsunari and Hideyoshi to meet. I didn't think there was such a wonderful place in the location of the mountains in the back and the fields in front. Actually here? It may be difficult to understand. The entrance gate looks like it's broken, and can I enter because there is a private house next to it? I thought, but there is a parking lot on the left behind through this gate, and there is also a Mitsunari well. If you go up the stairs in front, you will find the main hall. Under the stairs or ...
It is an old mountain temple where Hideyoshi and Mitsunari met, but I was fascinated by the appearance. I was lucky to watch it slowly in the main hall, which I couldn't usually see. It was a place where I personally felt tremendous power.
A temple famous for Sanken tea. Aside from that fact, it is a thankful building for the reconstruction of 1715 year. Meet Mitsunari was also being held, and I was grateful to the volunteers for explanations and tea.

I only got a cup of tea for Sanken.
