If it's sunny, it's a great view!
Original Text
Unlike other Minami Yatsugatake mountains, the summit is flat. From there, you can see Mt. Amida, Mt. Akadake, Mt. Yokodake and Mt. Yatsugatake 々. It's a word of superb view! People from the direction of Akadake and people from the direction of Kita Yatsugatake intersected, and the summit was very crowded. It can be said that it is a mountain that connects Kita Yatsugatake and Minami Yatsugatake.
It is forecast that the weather will collapse, so I climbed only Mt. Iwo from the Oren hut the day before the schedule. The weather is nice and there is an off-limits cliff from the top, and it is impressive with the scent of sulfur. In addition to the Yatsugatake mountain range, we were able to see 360 ° views such as the North, Central, Southern Alps and Mt. Norikura. Unfortunately, there were many clouds in the direction of Mt. Fuji and I couldn't see it.
At the pedestrian hut night, we ran vertically on Mt. Akadake ~ Yokodake ~ Mt. Iwo. Since Mt. Iwo is the final point of vertical running, I was looking at the mountain while looking back at the course I had walked on a wide ridge. Since the top of Mt. Iwo itself is located at the tip of the explosion crater, it is prohibited to enter, so a wide ridge is treated as a mountaintop. When I went, there was no view of the direction of Kita Yatsugatake ahead of the crater of the hatred explosion. Akadake ~ Yokodake ~ It is an area surrounded by Mt. Iwo ...
Arrived at Mt. Iwo via Mt. Akadake and Yokodake from Minodo. Yellow sulfur can be seen on the cliff, but strangely there is no scent of sulfur. Mr. Hisaya Fukada said that he would not approach the mountain of Catastrofy, a grudge that lost his best friend here. There is a signboard for attention.
There is a huge explosion crater at the top of the mountain, as if it were proof that Yatsugatake was a volcano, and it is sharply cut off. I started running vertically from Mt. Iwo, which arrived in about 2 hours to climb from Mt. Akadake mine, and went to Mt. Yokodake, Mt. Akadake, Mt. Gongen, and Mt. Henkasa, but the magnificent view was a wonderful mountain line unique to Yatsugatake.

Wide ridge and blast crater

A mountain like an aircraft carrier
