Onokorojima Shrine

I went for a public holiday on February 11. It was not crowded and I was able to park my car in the parking lot next door. The red bird house is a big but small shrine. It is a red stamp of 500 yen. It is a convenient shrine that can be visited in 10 minutes.

At the beginning of the world, the world was chaotic. The gods were born one after another, and the goddess Ivano and Ivan Ran. The gods live in a place called the World High Heavenly Plains. The gods decided to settle the chaotic world, so Ivano and Ivan Ran created a kingdom and gave them a spear on the moor. So the two gods stood on the sky pontoon bridge with the sky marsh spear stirred in Qinghai, the water drops from the spear tip and solidifies to form a self-condensing island. After the two gods stood on the island, they built the pillars of heaven and the earth. Then they built the eight-seeking temple and married. The children born of Ili Ranzun became islands and other sub-gods, such as Shi, Tu, Family, Sea, Kawa, Wind, and Mountain God, creating Japan's land and many gods. The islands first produced Awaji Island, then four countries, Hidden, Kyushu, Yuma, Sado, the eight islands in the state (the eight states), and finally other islands. The shrine worships the gods of Ishino and Ishiran, and has been revered as the god of bonding and Anchan in recent years. A large red bird house known as Japan's first stands in front of the shrine's main hall, high21.7 meters, built in March of Showa 57 (1982). It is said that when the two gods were tied together, a lizard (a kind of magpie) fell on this stone, and was later sent to the husband and wife to complete the god bird.

The torii was very big! The shrine was beautiful, but the torii was impressive!

It was very beautiful and it wasn't crowded because I went there on weekdays. You can feel the cultural heritage of the shrine and the scenery is very nice.
